Tres Torres

The Tres Torres hotel is situated in a wonderful location in the interesting cosmopolitan resort of Santa Eulalia.

The location has the WoW factor, overlooking the marina.

The hotel is in an excellent location adjacent to the marina and promenade with the beach just a short walk away.

We used the ferry a couple of times but found this rather expensive but the buses are cheap and the bus station is just up the street from the Royalty.

Taxis are also fairly cheap and you forget how small the island is.

When we got to our room we discovered that we had a king-sized bed (not all rooms have these) and that we had a balcony view overlooking the marina.

Back to the Hotel, yes the pool area is quite small, but again its in contrast to the Hotel which is quite small, but we never had a problem getting a bed, and every two beds had their own Parasol.

Also, in many of the rooms the air-conditioning is started using a button beside the bed - it is on a timer which switches off after anything from 1 to 3 hours.

The only negatives with this hotel (and these didn't spoil the stay) was the air con - it goes off after an hour and 30 min, which was quite annoying as you would wake up in the night cooking and have to get out of bed to turn it on again.

The previous criticisms about the towel situation is true but this was highly entertaining for us seeing the "sados" having to get up at an unearthly hour to "get their spot" to spend every day lying on a bed and seeing nothing else.

We were on half board and the food in the restaurant was really first class - plenty of variety both at breakfast and the evening meal.

I would definatley recommend the gelateria on the corner of the promenade towards the marina and a restaurant calle mezzanine which is opposite the pacha shop - we had the best meal of our holiday in there.

Both at breakfast and the evening meal there was plenty of choice and it was constantly replaced.

The food for both breakfast and dinner is of a very high standard with quality, choice and service being excellent.

Good Beach and great restaurants and shops.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful especially Amelia the receptionist who was able to change our room to a sea view for the second week.

The staff are exceptional in every way espacially Emilie and Geraldine on reception who went out of their way to help me in a crisis.

The staff were friendly and the ladies on reception both speak excellent English (one is scottish) and we were checked in very quickly.

Excellent service from the waiters who take your drink orders as soon as you sit down.

The pool was smallish but set in a pleasant garden area.

Entertainment was on 3 times a week at this time of year - A high standard duo called "Me & Him" were on one evening which was very entertaining - I understand at the height of the season they play outside around the pool area.

The food is very good and we also saw health environment person checking temperature of the food display areas and also the pool.

Bathrooms are also fairly small, but everything is spotless and lovingly maintained.

Food is always fresh and the dining room is well set out and well cared for, with a different menu each evening and wonderful 'specials' by the chef.
