    Individual guest reviews

    • Older travelers

Location to university, city and shopping was excellent.

Room decor was dated and worn. Needs spruced up and modernized. Also need to pay more attention to cleaning around the edges of the room.

Close to where I needed to be

Expensive given the quality (but cheaper than most other hotels in the area)

      Cheap. Good location

Walls were paper thin. Sounded like 10 university kids were partying next door. To staffs credit they came and busted them at midnight. Unfortunately they were back at it at 4 in the morning- ouch. Don't stay here if you need your sleep!

Location, close to uw for my meetings

Dated. The facilities are beginning to get rundown and could do with an upgrade. Windows for example were not secure or noise proof.

The hotel's location was good in term so of its proximity to the University of Washington and the chic shopping center.

The hotel did not even have a conditioner, while most hotels provide the necessary toiletries. Also, the water pressure of the shower was very weak. There was no fridge nor microwave in the rooms, and the breakfast room was horribly small--to the point of asininity. I paid approximately $255 dollars--including tax--for three nights, which was not worth it at all. I do not recommend the hotel. All in all, the the hotel had a exceedingly economical approach toward the treatment of its guests (just like many other hotels in the U.S., which only care about their own pockets).

      the location

The air conditioning is so annoying, and the hot water service is not enough for three people taking showers each day.

The manager/breakfast person was extremely nice, friendly, helpful. She poured coffee for people instead of having them get it from the thermos, she offered herself for help. Very, very nice woman.

      Noisy location. Limited parking.

Excellent front desk staff. Proximity of hotel to UDUB, shopping centre, and running trials.

Hotel was a good value for money; but with recent rate increase this is no longer so.

Location--very close to the University. We came for the Nebraska/UW football game.

The room was very stuffy even when we turned on the air. The door did not lock--even with the deadbolt on.

As my visit was for the purpose of attending a conference on campus, Travelodge was the ideal place being both in the proximity of the university as well as being next to extensive local shops and coffee houses.

The breakfast room is very small and only cereals are on offer, so I decided to have breakfast elsewhere.

Reception is very kind to allow for early check-in instead of having to wait till 4pm. After a long trip, this is very refreshing, able to take an early shower and not having to wait for hours before check-in time.

      Breakfast can be better.

Close to city and shopping. Staff friendly and nice. Free parking. Good wifi. A lot of channels on tv. Swimmingpool was nice.

Room temp. too high and AC did not work well. A regular paintjob would not hurt anyone.

Staff was very nice, helpful, and responsive to guests. Location is excellent: right next to the University of Washington; across the street from the refurbished University Village shopping area; next to the Burke-Gilman Trail (which is great if you run); and only a few minutes from the 520 connector to I-5. go look at the Watertower Hotel on Roosevelt Way. You could probably make a ton of money on the higher-end trade if you rebuilt the place on that model.

Air conditioner was loud. We had a room by the staircase and that made for a good deal of noise. Slots in the parking lot were small and it was difficult to maneuver around the lot in a full-sized car. On-street parking on 25th NE made it difficult to exit the lot safely. There will be an accident there one day.
