The rooms were impeccably clean, especially those with comfortable beds, free coffee & tea plus good air con. Besides, the location was stunning and unbeatable for our stay, within 15 minutes' walk of Towadakohan Onsen.

Great value for the money, comfortable room with 100% cotton bed sheets. The location was perfect, just a short walk to Towada Lake for hiking. The staff at the hotel were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay.

The breakfast could be improved with more variety. It was simply toast and cereal, and once the cereal ran out, there were no refills available.

The staff at the accommodation are known for their friendliness and accommodating nature, ensuring a pleasant stay. Guests can also enjoy free bicycle rentals, allowing them to easily explore the picturesque surroundings.

Some facilities, such as the sinks with no hot water and the Japanese bathhouse-style shower, may not be suitable for those looking for more luxurious amenities.

The staff are all really helpful and excellent.

The bed was clean and comfortable, which was definitely a plus after a long day of exploring. The location was great, being close to the lake and other attractions in the area. I also appreciated having access to a washing machine, as it allowed me to freshen up my clothes during my stay.

My main issue was with the lack of cleanliness in the kitchen and bathrooms. Both areas were quite dirty and in need of a thorough cleaning.

The staff were super chill and made us feel like part of the backpacker fam. We got to do so many sick activities, like horse riding and hiking in the beautiful Towada region. The location was perfect too, with the lake and convenience store just a hop, skip, and jump away. We're definitely coming back!

The one thing we wished for was a sick party vibe. Don't get us wrong, the atmosphere was great, but we were hoping for a bit more of a party scene with some late-night fun.

Besonders positiv ist die Lage in der Nähe der U-Bahnstation. Dadurch konnten wir bequem und schnell ins Stadtzentrum gelangen. Zudem war das Zimmer sehr gemütlich mit einem komfortablen Bett. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt war das leckere und vielfältige Frühstück.

Alles in Ordnung, nichts auszusetzen.

amazing stay at the cozy backpackers in towada. friendly staff, convenient location near bus stop and lake towada. loved the homemade fruit liquor and the option to rent bikes. breakfast included and simple, but delicious. would definitely stay here again.

The staff were incredibly friendly, and the location was perfect for our family activities. We enjoyed horse riding at a nearby ranch, where we had a blast galloping through picturesque fields. The experience was exhilarating and unforgettable for both kids and adults alike. The hostel itself was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and cozy atmosphere for our family. We also loved the opportunity to meet fellow travelers from different parts of the world, which added to the overall enjoyment of our stay.

For dads, it would be great if the hostel had a small playground or outdoor play area for kids.

I was completely blown away by the AMAZING staff at this place! They went above and beyond to cater to my dietary needs, cooking me a delicious chicken dinner even though it wasn't on the menu. The small kitchen space was a super handy addition, and the location couldn't have been better - just a 2-minute walk to the JR bus stop, the beautiful lake Towada, and a convenient store. The hostel itself was quiet and had coin laundry facilities. The beds were really comfortable, and the free breakfast was a nice touch. I had a mind-blowingly fantastic stay and would definitely come back without hesitation!

The location is great with good bus service and bikes available for getting around. The owners are friendly and the staff is nice. The room was spacious and there is a kitchen for guests to use. The meals area is comfortable and the homemade fruit liquor is delicious. WiFi is reliable and there is a shop nearby for basic supplies. Towels can be rented and there is a laundry and dryer on-site. The hotel next door has a fantastic Onsen for relaxation.

Felt really welcomed, no complaints whatsoever.
