The location is ideal, this hotel is great value for money and the staff is very friendly.

The hotel was clean, price was good and the location was so convenient for shopping.

I guess their idea of being a real hotel at 1/2 the price really means only providing 1/2 the service.

Nice bar for breakfasts located just next door.

The complimentary breakfast was good and the restaurant clean.

Breakfast was included in the price in the attached restaurant but we only did this once - Starbucks is just down the road.

David's Deli is our favorite breakfast & lunch place.

We did eat at the attached restaurant, and the food and the server were surprisingly good although the restaurant, like the hotel, was not very clean.

The '50s style decor of the lobby is actually kind of cool.

Saves you $10 from their valet parking price.

The valet parking was $21/24 hours, which is reasonable for San Francisco.

He talks of the "pristine clean hallways", (maybe 50 years ago) and the "bird's eye maple decor" in the rooms (wood grain plastic laminate) I think this guy bought the place 50 years ago, fixed it up, and hasn't done much else since then.

The rate was reasonable, the staff was extremely helpful and the room was clean.

Staff very friendly, good room and clean sheets.

The price was excellent, thus the service was good too: we were late and my room was clean.

Room was clean, the nice manager offered us free breakfast.

The location is great, walking distance to the major attractions: union square and the hotel is very well located. Reservation staffs has a very good service mind and the rooms are small.

The location is great, i like the rates they have because you get a decent place to stay for a comfortable prize and i liked the front desk attendant. The room is clean and a nice little deli is attached that had good breakfasts.

Localised near main city sights and warm welcome. Furthermore the price was reasonable and front desk people were helpful. Bathroom were clean, tHe heated towel rack was a pleasenet suprise and the elevator was rather prompt.

Location is great, the hotel staff on the other hand is worth staying elsewhere the physical condition of the hotel is alright a bit dated and room is clean and comfortable.

Good location / pricelevel and perfect hotel. Near in Shopping venue, great price clean and the staff very friendly. Very comfy bed and the mattress isn't at all comfortable. Free PC, nice breakfast and efficient check-in.

Perfect location for downtown SF and functional hotel. The price was excellent, thus the service was good too: we were late and my room was clean. The breakfast at Davids was great value too.
