Toss Hotel Riga - 里加

We didn't have any problems with the location since we took a tram downtown and found it very convenient let alone CHEAP (20 santims, which is less than 30 cents).

Communication with the Riga airport is poor, only taxi is available and the recommended service booked at the hotel on departure is 50% more expensive ($26 total) than the cab hailed at the airport on arrival.

After a 10 min taxi ride from airport, we arrived at the hotel (which the area looks a bit rough, but as soon as your in the complex, everything is modernised and feels very safe).

I found the rooms clean, the bathroom large and the ceilings high.

I was really surprised by the cleanliness of the rooms even though I had read positive comments about it.

The bathroom and showers are exceptional, although you may have a leaky shower, which is down to the fact that it is so new, and not everything has been “road tested” yet.

The hotel itself is lovely, everything seems to be new and they have the most comfortable beds, pillows and duvets I have ever slept in at a hotel.

Breakfast is in the Bowling Centre Restaurant - very continental - cold meat, cheese, yogurt and bread (which could be toasted) and the staff were very nice with a good command of English.

Breakfast was OK, although not a great choice - cold omelette and sausage for the 3 mornings we ate there!

TOSS” Hotel has it`s own Bowling and Billiards center, Restaurant „Eiropa”.

Breakfast was the only thing which I wouldn't rate very high: there wasn't much variety (we stayed for 4 nights), bread was a bit dry and fresh fruit was served only once.

The hotel lists a range of services, like a spa, sauna etc but they were not available when I choose the use and was asked to give an hours notice.

Central Train, as 's a quiet area and the parking place outside was very comfortable.
