The beach is gorgeous and the airport experience is great.

The beach was perfect, departure from the lovely Punta Cana airport was first class all the way and all the staffs at the resort were so helpful and friendly.

The accommodations were breathtaking, Suite 6121: an enormous living room, 2 bedrooms, 2 luxurious bathrooms, kitchenette and a huge veranda overlooking the ocean, which was just steps away.

Cons are: inconsistent service, very uncomfortable bed, very, very disappointing cuisine, the smell of insecticide being sprayed every nite, room decor is neither luxurious or warm/romantic (if this is what Mr.

I heard the one-bedroom suites on the second floor are ONE very large room, not a separate living room and bedroom.

It had 2 wonderful bathrooms, travertine floors, a huge comfy bed, wonderful views of the beach, 2 ocean view decks.

The room was on the beach and the view from our plush and supremely comfortable bed was absolutely Amazing.

Also the vistas from the rooms are magnificent and the restaurant / bar staff is excellent.

The Staff is what makes this place as outstanding as it is, our Villa Managers went out of their way to accomodate any requests, the restaurant / bar staff is excellent, the kitchen made us whatever we asked for (on menu or not.

Especially nice were the gentlemen serving breakfast at the Bamboo Restaurant.

The restaurant at Tortuga, Bamboo, is lovely but guests can also avail themselves of the other restaurants on the Punta Cana property.

Some of the restaurants were less than perfect; La Choza left something to be desired but La Yola and the restaurant at the golf club were excellent.

Tortuga Bay is absolutely beautiful, the VIP airport service is amazing and all of the staff is very professional.

After seeing pictures of the gorgeous private beach, the service at the airport is amazing and the staff is superb--very attentive without being intrusive.

The beach is truly beautiful, the service doesn't end there - you are taken back to the airport in a private car and staff is fantastic -- terribly friendly.

The quality of services could not have been better, the staff is very nice and helpful, the outdoor spa rooms are only 10% extra.

Dinners were nice and six Senses Spa was great.

Dinner we ate at Bamboo was also very good, the spa experience was the best I've had.

This place was the perfect beginning to a wonderful marriage, the staff at Tortuga was genuinely nice and the room was very clean and comfortable.

Although 51 units here with most empty and after arriving at 9PM from a 4 hour flt from Santa Domingo, kept us waiting 2 hrs to clean the room.

Spectacular scenery, gorgeous property, spacious, clean and luxurious room, and 1st class service.
