Toronto Marriott Downtown Eaton Centre Hotel

The hotel definitely has something of a 'business' feel to it but its location means it is perfectly situated for leisure travellers too.

The location next to Eaton center makes ideal for shopping, wonderful Hotel and great lobby.

The location is also perfect for us: next to the Eaton Centre and walking distance to Chinatown and Queen Street.

It is connected by a walkway to the Eaton Centre and when you park at the hotel (valet is the way for only $25) you can get just about anywhere on foot, bus, or subway.

Especially given the prime location adjacent to Eaton Centre and within walking distance (or easy subway or taxi commute) to most of the major tourist attractions.

Booking through Booked.net, have 3 children and 1 of them in a wheelchair, they provided us with a very large reception suite that had a murphy bed and 2 comfortable cot beds brought in.

I informed her that we wanted two beds and had requested such in our reservation three months earlier she told us that there were no rooms with two beds available and the best she could do was send up a roll away bed.

The decor was tasteful, flat-screen tv, VERY soft King bed, marble counter in the bathroom.

We had breakfast and lunch at the Parkside restaurant in the hotel, the food was of a very high standard, and children less than three eat free ( it costs $7.

We also had breakfast there, as when you pay for the concierge rate you eat off the buffet in the restaurant, which includes made to order eggs, etc.

We only ate in the hotel once for breakfast and the buffet is, of course, pricey but you certainly have a wide selection of food-with nutritional info for some items so you can watch what you're eating.

Our room was large, the sports bar was fun and friendly, the breakfast buffet was delicious.

We loved the Eaton Centre Marriott - the lobby has a nice cocktail bar and good steak restaurant and with a modern art look.

This includes all of the staff from the manager to the waiters and waitresses.

The pool area is quite small, and elevators, lobby is packed by noon, and there seem to be a lot of kids running around everytime im there, and the giftshop and cafe were very overpriced.

On the top floor they have a nice pool (a little on the small side), a fitness center, and a nice hot tub.

There is a lovely indoor pool and Jacuzzi on the roof as well.

Clean comfortable rooms, attractive public areas, excellent restaurant, and a friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff.

The staff were all superb, the room was clean.
