  Location is quite good, after a long drive from Colombo and the Executive Chef of this hotel is wonderful. The staff are extremely friendly and beds are reasonable. Choice for breakfast is adequate, the gardens are full of the most fabulous birds.

  Clean, friendly, great views, lovely hotel and the service at the reception was very warm. The bedroom was comfortable and breakfast was better.

  Nice view from up high above Kandy, brilliant Hotel and service is very good and friendly. The rooms are big enough, food the staff in the restaurant is excellent.

  The food and the restaurant area was totally acceptable and seemed to cover for most tastes, value for money, I did not find the bearers to be very professional, the staff were very friendly too. The rooms were clean and breakfast was plentiful and good.

  The bar area needs a good clean as do the glasses, the hotel is a long and the service of the staff is excellent. Rooms are well maintained and the food is not too bad.

  Reception and shops were very clean and ornate, Topaz in totality was very good. The staff were extremely friendly, the service in the dining room was very efficient and our dinner in the restaurant was disappointing.

  For the price we paid for the hotel was excellent value for money and reception staff were sympathetic. The room was spacious, the food in the buffet restaurant was good and the service good.

  At the tea plantation shop the tea is top quality and very cheap to buy we worth a look, the beds are good.

  Friendly helpful staff, the rooms need repairing and a good cleaning.

  The jewelers shop is expensive and better prices can be had in town, the hotel was very dated and is in need of total refurbishment. Food range poor.

  The food was good and the room servive even better, the breakfast was excellent.

  A dated hotel that has lost its purpose, reception was also very poor.
