The location of the hotel is miles away from anywhere so you will spend a lot of cash to-ing and fro-ing between there and the city centre in taxis.

Another minus was the location, you had to catch a bus to Chodov station and then a train into the city centre.

There is a bus service to and from the airport which costs about 65p and takes you to the metro station where you can catch the metro then the bus to the hotel, this will take about 1 hour and costs a lot less than a taxi.

We even travelled to and from airport via bus and metro.

The double room we had booked was two single beds of different heights pushed together with the skimpiest of bedlinen I have ever seen with one flat pillow and one flat duvet per bed, the portable tv didn't work and the room was very bare.

The rooms are extremely nice -- two bedroom, 1 1/2 bath suite with all the amenities and private balcony.

Our room was pretty basic, 2 single beds, own bathroom and toilet (which for us is always most crucial).

Hotel: Big, grand entrance, rooms very nice, clean, not that basic - what more do you really need other than beds, cupboards, a window and a bathroom?

There are 5 restaurants , we ate in the check bar twice and the meals were beautiful both times , also ate in the bohemian restaurant ,just for the experience, a little dearer but not much.

We found the staff to be friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurants and at breakfast to be good.

We did eat in the hotel one evening and the food was delicious, however, it was quite expensive, and the other nights we ate at Chodov centrum which offers many types of cuisine at very reasonable prices.

The down stairs sports bar is open 24 hours a day which is very handy but the morning breakfast is very basic (give me a full english any day).

And as for the piano bar this had no piano and was lacking in charcter also, the rest where you have breakfast was also quite poor and the breakfast was not upto much either.

I must admit on the second last day the reception staff changed over and the new faces would not have been out of place in the old czech secret service(even the female).

The service was a total shocker, reception staff are rude and the word HELP doesn’t exist.

The interior was extremely grand, reception staff very friendly and helpful.

The staff were ok but if they ask you to leave your passport at the front desk then ask if you can leave something else because they only keep the passports in a pile behind the counter-not so safe!

General - hotel is clean, has gym and swimming pool, has billiards room and staff are generally helpful and nice but language barrier can be a problem.

The swimming pool will set you back 5GBP for an hour but you can also use the sauna steam room and ice pool as well.

We were under the impression that the sauna, swimming pool, tennis courts and bowling would be available.

Hotel was superb, staff polite and helpful, rooms clean and tidy.

The rooms are very basic but clean warm and adequate with what we were after.

Hotel generally spacious and clean, good price, the size of the room I was in was huge.

The room was immacuantly clean and was cleaned daily.

We went to our room (in A block) which I would discribe a basic but very clean.
