Opened in 2005, this new hotel is situated in three buildings, designed in the style found in Reykjavik in 1900s.

By car

Rental cars are available. From the airport follow direction to Reykjavik. In the city turn left at Miklabraut road, continue and them change to Hringbraut at a major intersection. Keeping on driving, one come to a roundabout near the Univeristy of Iceland. Take the first road to the right out of the roundabout to the street Suðurdata. Drive to the end of this street and finally see the hotel at the end of the street.

  Fantastic location, traditional Hotel and on the whole the staff were friendly and helpfull. The shower was hot and the food was superb, and for Iceland, the wine was a reasonable price.

  Location is excellent right in the middle of all the bars clubs and restaurants, all in all the hotel is a good place to stay. Staff is very accommodating, design is tasteful and subtle and the rooms had everything we needed.

  Location is right downtown, you can walk just about everywhere, the hotel and rooms are immaculately clean and the decor in my opinion was lovely, finally, the staff are really friendly and will help in any way possible.
