  These are only a few of the complaints,,,I can say the staff was nice.

  I think shampoo and a hairdryer should be a requirement as well as washrags and handtowels for everyone in the room.

  2weeks and they gave us a 2 bedroom room for the price of a one bedroom and converted the second room into a lounge with sofas.

  The swimming pool was nice, staff memebers pleasant, the hotel is in a good area.

  Once we'd arrived we had to move rooms three times because the first room had dirty foot prints on the bathroom floor and it smelt very damp, and the second room was too big for us. The third and final room was the best out of the three (but still had major problems). Our bathroom had heavy condensation to the point that our toilet panel lid had to be kept off for the two weeks we were there so the water could drop into the panel and not splash onto us. The kitchen sink had terrible limescale (this type of limescale should only be seen on TV for a new cleaning product commericials) (see photo 2 & 3). Staff did not give us the basis information for the hotel eg breakfast/lunch times, reception opening and closing times etc. Overall the rooms need to be revamped and kept up.

  I actually stayed there last year August (2006) in the rooms with the loft. The a/c in the room did not work and the loft was unbearably hot. When I asked about the ammenities in the kitchen I was told there was a microwave and other small appliances that seemed to have gone missing just before I rented the room. Very reluctantly i booked a room with them again this September thinking that those problems from the year before were just unfortunate and isolated to that room. This time in a smaller standard room the problems were the same. The a/c did not work, making the nights unbearable again, the lights in the bathroom did not work, the bathroom was dirty and there were roaches. The staff is totally unhelpful and unreliable, save the security guards on patrol that last night, who were not even emplyees of the hotel. It is a lovely place but the service is terrible and the maintainance is non existant.

  If you want friendly staff who will go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable, if you are flexable, if you like to relax, if you like golf, good beches, nice people, comfortable accomodations, good food, COME ON DOWN! The Tobago Island Suites, is not a 4 or 5 star hotel but is is comfortable and the suites are large, we had a 1 bedroom unit with a loft (201) and it was larger than we needed. Stacey and the rest of the staff were wonderful, went out of there way to help when askes and were always cheerful and friendly. If you can, take a cell phone - making calls from the hotel is not direct dial from your room and you must go through the switch board that is manned sometimes.

  The pool is small but was never crowded and there were always loungers available.

  The room was more spacious than expected and staff was very helpful and knowledgeable as to the island activities and hot spots! Great Service, Courteous Staff, Affordable.
