Tivoli Lagos - 拉哥斯

The location of the hotel is excellent a stones throw from an abundance of great restaurants, try Cafe Ketchup, O'Artistos and Estrela do Mar, a real find situated above the fish market.

This hotel is situated in a superb location.

The location close to the front and town centre is a big plus and the private car park is very handy as a car is essential to explore the superb coastline.

We didn't book the hotel/airport shuttle when we booked online thinking we could get a bus from the airport to the hotel.

Having tried Vilamoura a few times we decided to go back to the quieter part of the Algarve hiring a car at the airport.

We had a twin room overlooking a pond, which was spacious, had a tv with several english channels and a mini bar, the bathroom had 2 sinks, bidet , shower and bath (old but immaculate) nice toiletries, but only view was of the pond and other rooms.

The room was luxurious and spacious, with a nice balcony, squeaky clean bathroom, comfortable bed and lots of extras.

It had a nice bathroom with a shower curtain (most hotels in Spain Portugal have a ½ shower curtain), a stocked fridge, king size bed, air conditioning, TV with lots of channels, etc.

We had a mini bar, tv with plenty of channels, enough room to spread out our luggage and a door to the entrance of our bedroom (separating it from the hallway, closet & bathroom).

We had a wonderfully firm king-sized bed, bath robes, a minibar and balcony.

Friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast and restaurants (Italian and Portuguese Cuisine).

Breakfast buffet offered a wide choice of foods, and the hotel's other restaurants looked very inviting, especially the Pateo Velho restaurant near the outside grill (see pictures).

There is a good choice of food for breakfast and the hotel has 3 restaurants for evening meals.

The most important was the reception staff, no longer the long face and unhelpful service, now a smile and very professional, and very friendly.

Great staff, warm reception, baby friendly, good facilities.

They have nice little touches too - it was my wife's birthday whilst we were there, and although I had said nothing to to the reception staff we had a birthday card in the room.

It would be as well to check with the hotel (all English speaking reception staff) before booking a room if you have a disability.

Overall, hotel has excellent facilities including free internet access for footballing boyfriends who need to keep updated on the scores:( Hotel also has a gym, jacuzzi and indoor swimming pool.

The Tivoli is a few blocks in from the beach but it has a no charge beach club with a beach, restaurant, pool and tennis and a free shuttle bus to go back and forth.

The bars are thoughtfully located: in the mezzanine lobby near the live music stage; by the pool, and of course at the off-campus Duna beach club!

I cannot speak to highly of the hotel rooms are spotless, service is excellent, breakfast buffet is excellent (if you cannot find something you like from the vast variety stay at home), the place is rambling but very nice and everywhere is clean.

Hotel room, very well maintained, clean and tidy.

The room was basic but clean and tidy and the cleaners did their best to keep it that way.

Staff was helpful and the room was big and clean.

Our room was very clean and every thing worked great, but they apparently used some kind of wood polish that stinks.
