  The hotel receptionist went out of her way to let us into our room very early (9am! When we got to our room were were impressed to find a large, spacious room which was very stylishly furnished. The room had a large kingsize bed with crisp, white bedlinen and a large plasma TV on the wall. We requested a pool view and got a room with a large balcony overlooking the pool and gardens which was lovely. There are plenty of sunbeds and the pool staff will go and get one for you no matter what time you arrive at the pool.

  One criticism of the room was the very poor air-conditioning: it's a central system with a thermostat in the room but we found it was fairly ineffective and the room got quite hot at night.

  The staff were so friendly and made our stay brilliant. The waiter even sang happy birthday.

  The premices and the room were clean, staff makes its best to match your requests, and the food (breakfast) was OK. The hotel is located 10mn cab from the medina: take a cab on the large boulevard, not in front of the hotel: you'll pay half the price. I liked the size of the hotel, quite small, quiet clients, some Moroccans when I was there.

  To get to the main Jemma el Fna in the medina, was about a 45 minute walk or a 30 dirham taxi (15 dirhams =£1 at time of writing). There were usually taxis outside the hotel, but the ones on the main road were cheaper (more open to haggling! For me the location wasnt ideal, and we would have preferred a more central location. ROOMS: The rooms were modern, clean, quiet and spacious.

  The flashy plasma TV had terrible reception and was virtually unwatchable. Our phone was also unusable for similar reasons.

  The staff, from cleaners to concierge, were more than friendly and helpful. I realise that we were there at a relatively quiet time of year, but feel that the attitude of the various staff we had dealings with was such that busier times should be equally as good. Our room was large and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the pool, and fairly quiet all the time. A petit taxi cost 30 - 40 dirhams for the same journey and at hotter times of the year would be money well spent.

  I was impressed with the location of the hotel as it was within walking distance to the new town but still far enough to enjoy the quiet and peaceful atmosphere of the hotel. To visit the old town and medina, you will need to take a taxi, i reccomend you just walk out to the main road to get a taxi as the taxis outside the hotel will charge more than double. The room was very nice with a king size bed which was extremely comfortable and a plasma tv, although there is a lack of english channels. The bathroom was clean and a good size with a seperate toilet and bidet. The pool area was very beautiful surrounded by garden and palm trees. The pool was lit up in the evening which was very beautiful, although we didnt have a pool view room, which is something i would request if ever i was to go back.

  The worst thing i experienced was one day the shower was running brown water, and when we asked the receptionist he just said to "run the water for 10mins and it would be fine".

  Large room with 6ft wide bed and spacious balcony overlooking beautiful pool and outside dining area. Modern fittings, plasma screen tv and 3 speed air con plus safe and fridge. No english tv channels but what the heck! French spoken widely but reception, bar staff and waiters have understanding of english. Very quiet at night - ideal for couples but not for lads parties. Quiet location 150 yds off main road serving modern Gueliz area with many good cafe's and restaurants. Petit taxi (little fiat/peugot) only 30 dirhams - 2 quid from medina (old town).

  The ambience was great - so peaceful and quiet. Beautiful swimming pool where we could have breakfast.

  The Pool area is wonderful lots of sun loungers brought to you prefered spot sun or shade and the pool is spotless and inviting. The room looked out to a side garden but had No Fan or air conditioning although the heavy dark curtains kept it relatively cool. The rooms are nice but the pillows and bed are very very hard. The breakfast out on the terrace is Lovely with large help yourself buffet. Be careful of guide booked through reception to take round Medina, he talked us into having lunch in the town which was nice No prob then dissapeared and we ended up having to pay for his Large steak meal, drinks and dessert.
