In all, lovely hotel, fantastic price (average $140 per night), and even though they weren't quite ready for tourists, still a great place to stay.
I still can't work out how this hotel chain combines class and service with such outstanding value.

The double room with kingsize bed was very good and comfortable, though a bit hard, but better than most beds in Portugal.
The rooms were immaculate - pristine clean, lovely bathroom, lovely bed (GREAT pillows).

The Hotel does not have a swimming pool or gym, which did not concern me at all, but it may obviously be facilities that other travellers require.
