Three Tuns Hotel Durham - 达勒姆

Good location in the centre of Durham, but note that as the owner of this hotel group has just gone into Administration, the facilities are unlikely to improve in the near future.

The location couldn't be better, just a three-four minute stroll from the heart of Durham - with plenty of little bars and restaurants on the way.

The location of the hotel for all this is great, you only cross Elvet Bridge and your are right in the middle of the place.

Very good room and excellent location - only 5 minutes from the centre.

Would visit again if I could get the same deal in the hotel because of its location.

Our room was very nice indeed, comfortable bed, nice decor, totally knackered bathroom however, they really do need to sort the bathrooms out and provide soap.

I had a large bright room although it was a single, thoughtfully furnished with a very generous bed and including a fridge with complimentary mineral water and fresh milk.

After showing myself to my room I had to telephone reception to ask whether any rooms were available without the wall paper peeling from the ceiling and mould in the bathroom.

The bed was first class - very comfortable, and the room was warm enough without being stuffy.

Our room was very large - a huge and extremely comfortable double bed and separate area with sofa and chairs.

The staff were fantastic, rooms were cosy and breakfast the next morning was served in the beautiful antiquated restaurant.

On both mornings something was missing from the breakfast as they had run out, Bacon, black puddings and baked beans were missing both mornings on a number of breakfasts and when queried we were advised they has run out!

We ate in the hotel restaurant and found the food to be of a good standard.

UHT rubbish you get, the reception staff also have great knowledge of loacl attractions and the shops, I look forward to re-visiting and seeing the staff again, definetley worth a visit!

On arriving at the hotel, found there were no parking spaces available, due to a lunch time function.

Our rooms were clean and the breakfast was tasty.

A relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and the room was superficially clean.

For a start the room was not clean, an old plaster was swimming in the sink.
