Thornton hall is a lovely location, a short walk into the village and one of the very few hotels that can cook a decent fried egg.

The treatment rooms are lovely, the food is perfect and the indoor pool is tranquil.

Room was excellent, also in the evening-buffet was fabulous.

The outside spa tubs great even on a chilly day, food is good and the surrounding gardens are lovely.

Excellent service from staff, we arrived on Saturday to a very welcoming receptionist explaned everything to us and being able to relax from the moment i arrived i went to bed.

Tthe hotel is 200 metres from a large electricity pylon and reception staff are very friendly and professional.

The main hotel was an elegant wood panelled house, the staff were very friendly polite at all times and especially the bedroom was immaculately clean.

    The location perfect and the seven star pub just in the village offers a nice. Look like Isaiah a great place to have your wedding and the building is extremely interesting. Laundry service is good, the accommodation is excellent and the surrounding gardens are lovely.

    The view from my room was beautiful, 95 was great value for money on Boxing day night and the wedding reception we attended was very well done. The bedroom was clean and food was good. The receptionist was very helpful and the spa was wonderful - a 50m indoor pool.

    Convenient location and lovely setting. Excellent service from staff, we arrived on Saturday to a very welcoming receptionist explaned everything to us and being able to relax from the moment i arrived i went to bed. The breakfast was great and the food delicious dinner was served. The spa was one of the best i've visited in the uk.

    The public rooms have great views over a lawn and the main hotel itself is a fantastic building. The staff are all very pleasant and wireless internet is excellent. The food is superb and the indoor pool is tranquil.
