Well located in relation to public transport, the hotel is in a great location in the centre of the city and the staff is helpful and friendly.

The only great thing about this hotel i s the location.

There are a couple of plus points about the hotel: central location, kitchen facilities, and friendly staff.

First of all, we booked a double room but really it was a large single size bed with one set of pillows.

When we asked to have a room with a larger bed, we were shown a really tired, and smelly room.

We booked a double room, but got a very small room with a large single bed for the 2 of us.

Our suite consisted of a alcove (no doors) with two twin beds and a bedside table in between and wall mounted reading lights.

Many in our group changed rooms several times, looking for one that didn't smell of smoke, had twin beds, not so far away, etc.

The breakfast was top notch with hot eggs, sausage and waffles plus a full Norwegian spread of breads, meats, cheeses and fish in an elegant dining room.

The breakfast was a typical buffet style and had a fairly decent selection of food.

In terms of location, it was pretty central, near the main Karl Johans gate, opposite the Slottsparken and near Bogstaveien - a nice shopping street with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants.

Within walking distance of the main shopping street and restaurants and close to the subway.

Location is fabulous, across a narrow lane from the Royal Palace and Park and an easy walking distance to the water front, restaurants, downtown.

All the prices are very high, the staff is kind and helpful, wi-Fi is working fine as well.

Reception was unhelpful when I had trouble operating the washing machine, but otherwise efficient.

Well located, a good budget hotel clean and the staff was very friendly.

The hotel wasn't too difficult to drive in and out of and the hotel has some reserved parking around the side of the building (for a fee).

The lobby was small and often crowded - and it was sometimes difficult to get past the smokers near the front door.

They had one PC with internet access available free of charge to all guests - unfortunately, it could be difficult to find times it wasn't already in use.

Furthermore the staff was helpful and bathroom was lovely and spotless.

There was a new carpet, but the bathroom was very old (it was clean though), and had not been renovated for the last 30 years so it seemed.

The hotel is very basic, but rooms are clean.

Clean room and breakfast was fantastic full of everything.
