A perfectly agreeable hotel for its price and status, definitely not a big American chain style hotel so look elsewhere if that's what you want.
I booked direct with the hotel using the Skanplus card, (well worth it, the cost of the card was covered several times over by the saving), discount and the rate was fairly reasonable for a hotel like this.
The location was good and hotel was nice and clean.
The room was dusty and there were electric & TV cables running all around the room without beadwork.
We got exactly the room shown on the website, but the difference is that the furnitures are outdated and used.
Breakfast was ok but served in the hotel restaurant who provides dinner service as a stand-alone restaurant.
So the breakfast attendant helped us to do it.
I wanted to get credit for an airline milage card, the breakfast attendant (kind of part-time job student) didn't really understand but prentended to do so and refused even to note down the card number.
This is the most expensive hotel we paid during our two-week trip in Norway, however, there was no return neither for the equipment nor for the service.
There is no lift but just a dirty staircase so good luck for the luggages if you are on the top floor.
Pleasant staff, the room was clean and breakfast was nice.
The bathroom was a nice surprise, a very clean and functional modern Scandinavian-style affair with surprisingly high quality fittings and a walk-in shower that's a lot nicer to use than most.
