Nicely located next to RR station, excellent location and reasonable priced for Oslo.

Taxi to airport 600kr or airport express train direct from station, the hotel is on the edge of the central area so is an easy walk to the action and the rooms are very comfortable and clean.

We were booked into the standard room, and although it was small it had space for both my husband's and my luggage, the bed was to die for comfortable, and the bathroom was oversized with great water pressure in the HUGE tub/shower.

The single rooms really are single rooms – a single bed and the room no wider that twice the bed width.

The room has everything I need, a minibar, a TV, a large and excellent bathroom with a large tub.

The 2 doubles we got were roomy and comfortable and we easily added a third bed in our room for the little one.

One room was a standard room with a queen bed.

Only 1 restaurant & 1 cafe/bar (the menu for dinner isn't great either).

Breakfast was excellent - Scandanavian breakfasts seem to offer so much choice - everything from cereal, to salmon and meatballs!

Breakfast was allright ,but boring, the positive part was a nice bar and great view from the room.

Location is excellent, hotel is located between central station and the staff are very helpful at the front desk.

The reception staff, in fact all the hotel staff, were always friendly, pleasant, polite, easy to approach and pro-active in sorting problems out.

There’s nothing ‘fancy’ about this hotel – no pool, sauna, spa or gym but if all you need if a comfortable night’s sleep in between meetings then at 1040 NOK (88 GBP, 130 EUR, 180 USD) per night the Opera is a great choice.

As a guest you also have access to the gym, sauna and sunbeds!

There is no pool and the sauna is too small and not very nice for a scandinavian place.

To get wireless internet can be expensive – however they do have an offer where if you join ( no charge) their frequent stayer program you receive free wireless internet access for the duration of your stay.

The view will be better the Opera is completed, the hotel is located adjacent to the Central Station and the rooms are spotless.

Rooms were clean and breakfast was amazing.

Staff is friendly and helpful, the bathrooms are gorgeous- so spacious and clean.

Rooms are small but pleasant and they are clean as well.

Bathroom was spacious with only a shower and was very clean.
