Excellent location and the hotel was good value for money for me.
The big advantage of this hotel was that it had reasonable prices with an excellent location.
Great location & beautiful hotel, good beds and nice prices in the restaurant.

The location is great, close to Royal Palace, the main street, Karl Johan and is only a 20 mins walk from the station along a pedestian street.
The balcony offered excellent views of the park surrounding the Royal Palace, the location of the hotel was great for me and the rooms were comfortable and clean.
The location is excellent, this hotel is pretty quiet and very nice of them :-) the hot drinks help us keep abit of warm in the cold weather on our way out.
The bus and train stations are also easily walkable in around 15 to 20 mins (well worth trying as taxis are very expensive - we took one on the way to the hotel and it was equivelent to £11).
Oh and the Radission SAS Airport bus is a very convenient.
We asked for a triple bedroom, and instead of having 3 beds, we a an extra fold up bed than was not confortable at all.
The room we had was clearly a twin room which had been adapted, which would have been ok except the adaption involved a rather short and not very comfortable fold out bed.
Bedroom facing nice view, reasonable price for the location compared to other hotels in city centre and the room was very clean.
Staff was friendly and helpful, the only real problem I had was that the bed was unbelievably soft resulting in me taking the top matress, breakfast buffet was very good.
The room itself was very small and the bathroom even smaller.
We didn't eat dinner in the restaurant as there were several restaurants close by.
It then took a 5 minute trip to the restaurant and bar every evening to get another of each.
Beware, the restaurant and bar are closed on Sundays.
We had a snack lunch in a bar at Aker Brygge by the harbour (2 x 0.
Breakfast is nice with quite a lot of variety of food.
The service was excellent, the receptionist was very friendly and the room was clean and cosy.
The staff at the reception desk helps with any questions and problems you have, and rents umbrellas if it's raining :-) It surprised me nicely.

Location was great - walking distance to the National Theatre station and the hotel staff was quite friendly as well.
