clean and modern hotel with functional rooms and nice bathroom. breakfast was incredible with a lot of choices - fresh and tasty. staff was friendly and everything in the city is close.

Basically nice, clean hotel, with very nice staff and really fine breakfast directly at the promenade

We had specially chosen the luxury room with river view. The window looked more like a loophole than a window. There wasn't much river vision. There is no hotel parking lot, only public parking lots that cost a fortune. At least all those close by.

Good location, large clean room with large bathroom, comfortable bed. Elevator available. Very rich and delicious breakfast buffet with a lot of fresh ingredients. Sufficient public parking spaces are available near the hotel.

I always return to this hotel. The staff once helped me with my forgotten earpods. It suits me perfectly with Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, fitness centre, and express check-in. I can't wait to come back for my next trip.

For once it was very warm in Norway - air conditioning would be nice. But the fan that was brought from the reception cooled down sufficiently.

I recently stayed at Thon Hotel in Tonsberg for a weekend getaway. The hotel was beautifully decorated and the rooms were clean and fresh. The beds were fabulous, ensuring a great night's sleep. The location was perfect, situated right on the water-front with stunning views. Within walking distance, there were plenty of shops and restaurants to explore. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a variety of choices, and the staff were attentive and friendly. I even had the luxury of a late check-out. I couldn't ask for a better stay!

My stay was an absolute dream! The staff were super friendly and the rooms were beautifully decorated with tons of natural light. The breakfast buffet was mind-blowing, with a stunning view of the waterfront and a delicious array of both local and international food options. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the railway station and surrounded by shops and restaurants. The beds were fabulous and the entire hotel was clean and fresh. I also appreciated the late check-out option. Highly recommended!

There was nothing I didn't like.

Location on the marina waterfront of Tronberg, with the room allocated 216 giving wonderful views of the fjord & setting sun - lovely. No fuss bar service by receptionist after bar closed.

Didn't affect our stay & plenty of other places to eat / drink, but the restaurant closes early.

The value for money at Thon Hotel was excellent, with beautiful rooms and a great location right on the waterfront. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

Breakfast offerings could be improved with more variety.

Very warm reception. Nice situated, close to the pier and to several restaurants, pubs, bars. Free high speed internet access. Free umbrellas.

As this hotel is situated close to another hotel my window only pointed to neighbouring hotel's kitchen.
