Great location and centrally located right on the cool downtown street of Kamloops.
Good location, great value and the staff was very helpful and accommodating.
Free underground parking, it is a public car park but hotel guests are exempt from the charges.
An ideal stop over, free underground parking and stores in a few blocks radius as well.
They have just put in HEAVENLY BEDS (like in Westin Hotels) and they are as close to heaven as a bed can be.
Room large with comfy beds, microwave, fridge, large bathroom.
The room was clean, but the king bed took up most of the space in the room.
Furthermore staff seemed friendly, large bed and the towels were also clean as well.
As I say the rooms were really good, freshly decorated, immaculate bathroom, & a ‘welcome guide’ that must be read – AND I MEAN THAT.
The restaurant at the hotel is apparentlty quite new, the breakfast buffet was excellent.
The free breakfast and all facilities were excellent.
The large television and excellent breakfast.
The Thompson also offers free internet and a very good complimentary breakfast.
Mattresses were excellent, the Breakfast Buffet in the morning was great.
The reception staff were very polite straight after I checked in the conference manager introduced himself and he showed me the business centre and that I could use the internet and phones in there for free to check home emails etc, top man.
We were incorrectly given a smoking room which was immediately rectified by the reception staff who apologised profusely.
It looks like the manager has been on a customer service course & has taken everything on board.
Although we had reserved just one room, when the staff member at check in saw the amount of luggage we had, he offered to upgrade us to a larger room that more easily accommodated the four of us and the bags.
There is swimming pool & gym off reception & a games room with mostly free vend games such as air hockey, football, arcade games – really good.
The hotel clean and spacious with a good pool.
Under cover parking is available at no extra cost.
The hotel didn't look much from the outside, the rooms are large and clean.
The rooms are large and clean with all the facilities you need.
We only spent one night there and had a clean and comfortable room.
Rooms were clean, the breakfast buffet was excellent.
The staff were friendly and bathroom was clean.
