Nevertheless this hotel is certainly on a level above that of the average budget-class hotel, and offers good value for money.

50 bnb so alot cheaper than budget hotels, just negotiate with hotel for better rate, will stay again as good value for money.

For a good hotel at a reasonable price I would definitely recommend the Thistle.

The hotel had a good comfortable feel to, best value in Inverness at £39 for a single room on a Saturday night.

I think the location next to the a9 is excellent and decor not the most modern I have ever seen.

The whole reception area I felt was bright and welcoming, the hotel was in a good location for the city.

Good location, in accessible to town except by cab and big shopping stores by walk.

We stayed here as part of a tour for two nights - the other bus was booked in town instead of on the outskirts like this one was but I liked it better than theirs.

Convenient for city centre and for bus tourists probably perfect.

The bed was very comfortable and we had no problems with lack of space in the room.

Clean and bright - good food - good parking - excellent leisure centre, the reception staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful, the bed was huge as was 2 single beds zipped together - fantastic.

The room itself wasn't huge but was made to look even smaller by the gigantic bed which was covered in pillows.

Good value, friendly staff and got an extra bed in the room free of charge.

Bed was very comfy and nice toiletries in the rooms tho.

Good location and design excellent. Staff friendly, clean room and i felt that the Chef at breakfast was very courteous and helpful. The leisure facilities were of a high standard.

Ideal for a city break would appeal to every-body, the public areas in the hotel are very good and the rooms are well set out. I now have the confidence to attend a private gym.

A good stop between glasgow, handy for christmas shopping - well situated not too far from city centre would probably stay again and the reception staff were helpful. Rooms were clean & comfortable.

Was situated well for all activities, the parking for the hotel was excellent and the reception staff were very helpful - particularly whenwe had problems. The room was spacious, restaurant did a good evening meal.

I liked its proximity to city centre, everything adequate for a one night stay and the staff has the good attitude for the gust. Additionally my favourite kind of shower and delicious food. Pool facilities nice.

Hotel had good facilities, check in/out staff were courteous and room was reasonable value for money.

I was surprised that the fan in the bathroom had to be screwed in to stop making a noise and breakfast was spoiled by slow service from grumpy.
