This hotel is fine for the money, as long as you don't pay too much.
A decent, comfortable business-oriented hotel, with good value rates on the weekend.
Good location, nearby city centre and cadburys world.
Good value parking nearby, excellent location and clean did not eat at hotel.
Perfect location with Broad St for nightlife nearby too.
A taxi from the airport will cost you about £25, depending on taxi driver.
The only good thing was it was a 6 pound taxi ride from birmingham town.
We were moved to a suite at no extra cost (smoking - only room available with bigger bed).
The rooms have sky tv, pay movies, reasonably comfortable bed (although the pillows are a bit hard!
The bed was very hard and the room generally needed upgrading - decorating and new furniture.
The furniture is very dark wood and the wall paper and bed linen have a distinctly 50s feel so it made the room poky and dingy.
The bathroom was nice apart from the fact that the bath and shower tap in my room was broken so the water came out at a trickle and it took me the best part of 20 minutes to fill the bath one night.
The restaurant although not busy could have been better, the meal was bland as was breakfast.
On the plus side, it was clean and the bar and restaurant areas were quite pleasant.
The bar and restaurant is very comfortable and nicely decorated.
I did not venture down for breakfast but at 11pm in the bar smelt toast being made.
Restaurant - very expensive so eat elsewhere if possible, although the food was pleasant but expensive for what was available.
Reception staff excellent and large room.

Friendly staff at front desk and would recommend you can get a good room rate.
