Welcome base for discovering Grasmere with nice staff with manager who was nice and helpful.

The units are extremely spacious with rear view. The breakfast is lovely, and the location is awesome adjacent to Bars and cafes, and all local shops, cafes & pubs. The services are exceptional, including a good pool.

The setting was great and fab, next to wonderful gardens, and all local attractions. The room was spotless and airy, and the bed was extremely comfy, would stay here again.

Pleasant reasonably spacious hotel with a great pool and rear views. Gorgeous location just next door to main restaurant as well as the public bistro, compact room. And an easy walk to Cocoa Hearts. Great to have a signature restaurant for dinner and breakfast.

It had tastefully decorated and well-appointed room with a very big bed for great nights sleep. The location was perfect, only a short distance to St Oswald's Church.

The units are luxurious, spotless with rear view. The hotel is on a marvellous location short walk to a pleasant and sometimes challenging 4 mile hike, the conservatory for a sandwich on arrival and the Restaurant onwhich is fabulous serving a Very high standard of food.

It's compact with extremely comfy beds and pleasant views. A balcony, a lounge area, and a safe are available. The hotel has marvellous and fab location in the "Signature" restaurant.

Greatly enjoyed that the hotel was exceptional and had hard-working staff in touch with manager who was nice and helpful. Had central location especially in the restaurant where they were outstanding. It was also next to surrounding areas, and Ambleside via the 'coffin route' a pleasant and sometimes challenging 4 mile hike.

Outstanding food in the lounge area for breakfast on muffins with a hollandaise sauce. Airy and neat room overall, with balcony.

From the moment I arrived, they were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed, including a sitting area and free Wi-Fi. The welcome gifts in the room were a lovely touch, making me feel instantly welcomed and valued as a guest.

The slightly high price for breakfast, but the quality and taste of the food made up for the cost. I highly recommend this hotel to families seeking a luxurious and comfortable stay.

The staff here are amazing and the food is excellent, not to mention the fantastic location, just a short walk away from the city center and only 2 km from Dove Cottage.

The stay at this great and quiet hotel was a great one. We really enjoyed rooms with rear view. Besides, the location was brilliant for our stay, within 25 minutes' walk of Dove Cottage. This property was set in a nice enough area.
