This was our first trip to Chicago and after reading several reviews online, decided we didn't need to pay the high prices of hotels downtown, and booked this hotel directly from the property.

All in all, I liked the hotel and the price/location was right.

Great location in a fantastic Chicago neighborhood, with surprisingly cheap parking right across the street - a bit of a walk to the L, but buses pick up right by the hotel.

The location was great - close to restaruants, Starbucks and, lucky for us, the hospital.

Good location next to bars, old-fashioned decor and very comfy lobby for hanging out/eating breakfast.

The location was excellent and lincoln Park right nearby was great.

Location very convenient, a two dollar bus ride is far better than a twenty dollar cab ride and he has to make them understand that there are some more charges involved.

My room came with two AC/heating units at each side of the bed, which allowed for individual climate control.

The hotel room was very small but the bed was comfortable.

The front desk did offer to change our room, but this was after we were in bed and moved in, and we didn't take them up on it.

The location was great and the bed was comfortable & was walking distance to Wrigley.

It is located in a great neighborhood near the lakefront with a huge selection of Restaurants and shops in walking distance.

Small, with a friendly staff, continental breakfast, and coffee/tea in the lounge 24 hours.

Located near cafes, quiet street and great restaurants within walking distance.

The downside: it was a bit difficult to maneuver with luggage, reduced elevator room capacity (more wait time down in the lobby/at your floor), and if you got a room within proximity to the elevator, you'd hear the loud "bang!

Great internet access, the elevator is ancient and love the coffee available all day.

Best neighborhood in Chicago and nice lobby.

Although small, the room was bright & had a fresh, clean smell.

The place is very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, tea available 24 hours is nice as are the bathrobes in the rooms.

The bathrooms are clean, the elevator is ancient and recommend some good restaurants.

Our room was huge and comfy, very romantic, and very clean.

The service was efficient, room was clean and quiet even we were by the elevator.

    Central location, helpful especially for people had never visited Chicago before and the staff was incredibly friendly. Bed was great and breakfast was good.

    Location was great, the art-deco style of the hotel was very attractive and the staff was courteous and helpful. Room was quite comfortable and the free breakfast was perfectly adequate.

    Location was on a quiet tree lined side street and was a great value for the level of comfort. The staff was especially helpful, the prices of the in room items were also surprisingly reasonable and the free breakfast was perfectly adequate.

    The location was central to the transit system and we enjoyed the tree lined street the hotel was on. The staff was friendly and the tv was a nice flat screen hung on the wall. The coffee was great.

    Very good food shopping shop near, the location is also great you need a hotel in the Lincoln Park area and the staff is friendly. Additionally the beds are comfortable.
