If you have ever wanted to vacation in the old fashioned style of New York’s super rich, The Whiteface Lodge is a place to try. It is an all suite property with super luxury at every turn. The décor is rustic and elegant. The bathrooms have granite not marble, but the granite floor tiles are heated. The staff is friendly and attentive. There are a wide variety of unusual features available to guests including an on site movie theater, a gracious lounge that features cigars and cognac, a bowling alley, and an ice cream shop. The food is top notch. If you need to unwind, there are both indoor and outdoor pools as well as a health spa.

The Whiteface Lodge is a luxury resort that has been open to its guests since 2005. The hotel is one of the most majestic buildings in the region. It overlooks the charming Lake Placid in the Adirondack Mountains. Heated underground parking, the rooms beat out the Mirror Lake rooms by a long shot and the property location itself is fine.
The place is beautiful, helpful staff - not to the point of annoyance and the bed is sooo comfortable.
Welcoming places I have been to, four computers for perusing the free internet are also available.

Beautiful location and currently the best in Lake Placid. The whiteface lodge is amazing and the service is friendly and helpful. The guest rooms are tasteful and comfortable and very well appointed, bar lounge has good acoustical entertainment at night, the lodge's Kanu restaurant is fantastic. The gym is nice and seems to have a fair amount of equipment.

Luxury in the high peaks, surroundings are beautiful and especially the quality of the buffet is reasonable. Immaculate and the service is fabulous, the beds are very comfortable, and the food at the restaurant is fantastic. European clients and is family friendly.

The best in Lake Placid, the fitness center next door to the game room is state of the art and we made great use of, the Whiteface Lodge is a much better value in my opinion. The staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast included is a good thing. Facilities are very tasteful, comfortable.

In closing, we loved the pool, hot tubs, gameroom and surroundings, fabulous hotel. Very tasteful interiors and friendly staff. Many amenities i.e. games room, the bar was great and the Restaurant Kanu was wonderful. Our dinner was very good and our server was delightful.

The common areas of this adirondack themed lodge are incredible and the place itself is beautiful. The front door staff is great and the rooms are just as well appointed as the rest of the resort. The breakfast buffet is very good.

I just loved the decor, exceptional staff and our 1 bedroom suite was beautiful. The restaurant was great and saw to the dietary needs of my celiac husband, our dinner in the restarant was amazing and service was top notch. The pool was very warm, clean, uncrowded.
