This lavish, historic hotel has an amazing location in the middle of Union Square. The room sizes vary though: the rooms in the newer tower are more contemporary, while those in the older section are smaller. The best part is the incredible public spaces and the delectable cuisine at the restaurant.

Big hotel room, luxury building and great deal for the price we got online.
Our room had a wonderful view stretching from Nob Hill to the bay bridge, the beds were incredibly comfortable.
Very friendly front desk, the concierge desk was super helpful too and the room we had was superb.

The restaurant prices are, in most cases double we paid at better establishments in the city, the overall location of the hotel was also great and our room over looked Union square and was spacious.
