Wonderful location, away from the hustle and bustle of the seashore.

The location of the hotel is good if you plan to visit many locations in the Costa del Sol area and is less than an hour's drive from Gibraltar.

Parking was 8 euro a day in a secured parking location under the hotel.

The hotel itself is a 90euro taxi from malaga airport (45mins-1hour) and at least 10 mins taxi journey from the nearest eating/shopping area (10euros in a cab).

Puerto Banus really is not that far from the hotel (10 euro taxi ride), and if you have a rental car, it is quite easy to get to the beaches (5-10 min drive and easy to navigate).

Our room was quite spacious but there were holes in the bed linen and towels and the room was not the cleanest I've stayed in.

On the plus side, the rooms are good, spacious, good bathrooms, lovely beds with great pillows & big balcony with concrete bench seats with loads of cushions to sit out on.

The room was very big, massive bed with a very comfortable mattress, good decor too.

Our delux room was huge with the most amazing, comfortable bed I have ever slept in!

Spacious, well appointed, a large, spotless bathroom and of course the Westin Heavenly Bed with large, soft pillows.

We had a room only rate - very reasonable for what you get - but be warned, breakfast buffet at 25euros per person; the restaurants and food at the hotel is very pricey.

All services from check in to restaurant, bar, golf pro shop excellent.

We were told on arrival that we could choose to eat in 'the bar' as opposed to the restaurant for a change and our half board would cover this.

Overall the breakfast buffet smacked of cost controlling & the chef in the restaurant was having a very bad day when we ate there.

The breakfast was amazing, the Moorish bar downstairs was very cosy.

Excellent reception and concierge service.

The staff was very accomodating in every way and seemed to be very service oriented - whether it was making sure we were comfortable with our room or suggesting and making reservations for excellent restaurants in Puerto Banus.

The hotel staff were very friendly and the service excellent.

Yes you will have to pay 10 euros a day for car parking!

I tend to agree with some of the other reviews, the hotel was very nice, if you aren't on the pool side it is very noisy with traffic and valet parking.

High-speed Internet access is available, however access charges can be quite steep.

The place is clean and quiet and the rooms dont let noise in: for example a premiership team were staying there and they were in rooms around us, but they were exemplary: well behavied and curteous to us at all times with no noise.

Rooms very clean and comfortable (had deluxe pool view) with sitting area and balcony.

I had a room + breakfast + champagne and fresh fruit + a late checkout for 185 euros.
