Westin Galleria Houston - 休斯敦

The location is great - right in the middle of everything, the area the hotel is located in is fantastic right in the Galleria mall and my phone didn't work I arrived.

It was a nice hotel, very accommodating and you cannot beat the location.

When we checked out (2 people with 2 large and 2 small suitcases, we hailed our own taxi from the taxi line and loaded with the hotel of the driver; doormen were busy sneaking a cigarette break.

The room was spacious, modern, clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom adequate.

The hotel itself was quiet and the room/bed was comfortable.

The bed was great, and to me the decor of the room was very good.

Rooms are sizable (although bathroom a bit cramped), the in-room internet connection worked perfectly (although not free);.

The room was run down, felt dirty, the bed was lumpy and we both felt very uncomfortable in that room.

Convenient to the businesses in/around the area, the restaurant in the hotel has good breakfast and not a terribly pleasant lobby that encourages socializing.

Strange towel - am I supposed to dry myself all over, the breakfast in the restaurant was nicely cooked.

Captive restaurants in hotels almost never do a good job on breakfast, clean room that you see on the Westin's website.

The location is fantastic, service and amenities are great, I didn't eat at any of the restaurants, because you don't need to.

There are a lot of restaurants around and fast food in Galleria Mall.

The entire staff was very friendly and prompt, from the porter to the front desk to the concierge.

The staff , well that is the only problem with this hotels, there isn't enough, but when they appear service is great as I mentioned before.

The lobby was not that bad, the front desk a staff was efficient at check in and the check-in process was quick.

Service was nice; people were friendly at reception, housekeeping;.

The business center personnel were very helpful, hotel gym was large and free wi-fi in the lobby was good.

One feature I liked that I haven't seen before is a computer terminal in the lobby where one can print out airline boarding passes — very handy!

Between the parking situation (where I believe they purposely don't tell you where to park so you will valet) and the internet problem - I will never stay at this property again.

Our room was immaculate--spacious, clean, light, completely upgraded.

It was clean, conveniently located and the room was large, just not up to what I consider Westin standards.

Figured out that cracking the door open for a half hour or so will clear out the bathroom without setting off the smoke alarm.

Location was very convenient, to me the decor of the room was very good and the lobby was clean.
