  The shower head was AMAZING.

  There were toenail clippings in our bedroom.

  It was a nice hotel, had a great location and was the star level

  I had a great four night stay for business, great staff, very attentive and polite, great room on the top floor, close to the strip. Very impressed with most of the property except the pool area, pretty small by Vegas standards. Loved the workout room and from check in to check out, great personnel everywhere, I'll be back.

  Great service, cheap and, as good as the bigger more whimsical hotels. I heard horror reviews about toilets, elevators, and air conditioning not working, but everything was running well. There is an additional fee of $10/day I was aware of, but I figured they give you a coffee maker with starbucks coffee, Tazo tea and free water bottles, that I didn't care. The Heavenly bed wasn't as comfortable as anticipated. Treasure Island's bed is way better, but the Heavenly shower was amazing. Taxi service is not as quick, but they do come.

  Someone came up to fix it within 10 minutes Pool is tiny!

  First the rooms are small,. $20 to front desk guy by name Raul but still got a worst room and worst service.

  There was a nice happy hour in the Suede Lounge from 5:30 to 7:30 with free beer, wine, and refreshments such as fruit, cheese, crackers, and etc.

  The rooms are very small but Vegas is not a place where you'll spend much time in your room. Our room was suppose to be a King but we arrived to find out we were stuck with a Double instead.

  All of the employees were very curteous and helpful. I feel like they should jusy build it in to the cost of the room so as to not annoy the customers with it.

  Then we are getting on the elevator to go up to our room and a couple walks out with their 2 dogs. As it turns out, the Westin is a dog friendly hotel! So I asked the receptionist what the deal was and she told me animals are only allowed on the 1st two floors (which is a lie bc I saw dogs on the 9th floor). She promptly gave us a room on the 14th floor (the starwood preferred guest floor) and honestly it didn't smell much better but after the 5 1/2 hour flight I gave up. The room was small and the heavenly bed was more like polyester heaven. My brother and his gf las minute decided to meet us and with 4 adults in the room it was a bit crammed. This was nice on NYE after the fireworks (no cabs on NYE) we were able to walk back to the hotel. I went to the spa to get a manicure and it was $60!

  The hotel prices for this time of year tend to be pretty intense.

  Just stayed at the Westin Casuarina Hotel and Spa in Las Vegas and was very impressed! Like most people who go to Vegas, originally I wanted one of those luxury hotels right on the center of the strip, but was led to the Westin as an alternative in price. The rooms are clean and a good size, including a double shower. The only thing that was odd was that the hallways where the rooms are were freezing. Otherwise, the room was comfortably heated, and it was cold the weekend we were there. You can sign up right there at the front desk, and you get special privileges and most importantly get to go to their free happy hour with appetizers, wine, and beer from 5:30-7:30.

  While the carpet is a little worn and could be replaced, I found the overall atmosphere of the hotel, including the lobby, bar area, and casino modern with an art deco feeling.

  9 out of 10 hotel employees were rude and/or unprofessional in our interactions. $13/day; no movie channels unless you pay extra; carpets dirty & stained; rooms are tiny and need to be updated; "casino" is a joke and even with a lot of people -- they did not open up all tables; valet won't park your car unless you leave it in uncovered parking; long response time by front desk on any number of issues we raised (needed bathrobe, new batteries for smoke alarm, coffee, etc.

  The location is an easy five minute walk to the strip, across the street from Bally's. The rooms were clean, the bed was magnificent and the showers were fantastic. We would defintely stay here again since the room was such a good value for the money. One thing to keep in mind however-there is no airport shuttle.

  FYI-there were no problems with the elevators or the hot water.
