Hotel itself was clean and room/bathroom were confortable/clean,breakfast was ok,staff seem to lack interest! Ate once in the restaurant cheap tastless food but fast and polite service.

I suggest the kitchen dish washer should be serviced. More attention to amenities as set out in your room A-Z ie telephone, hair drier, trouser press. These remarks are intended to assist you in giving value for money.

Comfortable room with good facilities for the price.Well-spaced dining area

Food was poor on this occasion. Previously when we've stayed our meals were excellent. It seems that the new menu is to attract those who don't care what they eat!

Clean, comfortable room. Quiet despite being next to a busy road. Superb breakfast with great variety.

Arrived at 9.30 in the evening after a 300 mile journey, but waited at least 10 minutes before anyone arrived at the reception desk.

We liked the pub/restaurant attached to it which meant we could grab a bite to eat before we went out.

The staff were very welcoming, the funds allowed in the package were more than sufficient for a 3 course meal in the evening and the breakfast was served in a relaxed atmosphere and was good quality.

It was only for one day. Dinner in the pub was reasonable in price and palatable

My booking had been lost. It had erroneously recorded for the previous night. The girl on reception worked hard to solve the problem but the bedroom smelled of smoke. The bed looked unmade. The toilet seat was broken. The bed was ridiculously soft and caused backache. Breakfast was cold and mushrooms were served raw.

The young woman on the desk was very welcoming, helpful and kindly got a taxi for us. She was just as calm and friendly the next morning having been on duty all weekend. She very skillfully handled a rather rude and demanding customer ,in front of us, with tact and calm replies. The food at the Restaurant was excellent value for money as was the wine.

Nice location - very quiet after 11.30ish. Staff were very helpful and room etc was very clean with all the standard items you would expect. I paid £55 for my stay which I thought was very reasonable. Breakfast prices were also very good and the girl at breakfast accommodated all of my requests :-)

I added questions to my booking (on-line) and no-one responded to these either by email or by calling me - thought this this pretty poor.

Comfortable, friendly and in a great location. My parents stayed here and my father loved the fact he could go for a few pints in the evening too. Excellent.

The location worked well for our visit to the Henley Royal Regatta. We just went up the road for 10 minutes and found ample parking near the Leander. The room was a decent size and a bargain compared to a very small room our friends got at the Red Lion in Henley.

The road noise was pretty bad - even though we wore ear plugs at night. Even worse, patrons spilling out of the bar late Saturday night were loud and crude. The parking lot was littered with empty glasses and bottles the next morning
