  We did not have reservations, but we had a discount coupon from Room Saver for The Village Inn. We were pleased with the overall appearance of the room. We enjoyed the wine and cheese reception, had a glass of wine on our balcony, enjoyed the small lake and fountain in front of the Inn. We had dinner at a nearby restaurant one of the staff recommended then came back to our room and fired up our computer on the wireless internet. All was well until I turned down the bed and discovered the sheets had not been changed. It could be a lovely spot to stay a day or two but management has to make sure the room not only look clean, but are clean. I had to rate the bed comfort and value for the money before I could leave this review. I honestly don't know if the bed was comfortable because I did not sleep on it, and value for the money rating does not apply because they refunded our money.

  After waiting for more than an hour for staff to call, we took off our pajamas, packed our bags and checked into a nearby hotel. Maid service and management should know better.
