Sofia Hotel Downtown San Diego - 圣迭戈

Great location, the hotel is extremely well situated.

If you need to rent a car, the hotel is very close to an AVIS location just outside "Little Italy" and they will come and pick you up.

The location is perfect, close to airport, downtown, Balboa park, and the highway to the beaches, all this but without being a huge eyesore chain hotel in a tourist district.

Excellent, excellent location, close to the airport, downtown, train station and lots of taxis outside.

I would take a cab from the airport and just take the trolley.

The beds have nice linens but they are doubles not queen size as the room cannot accommodate a queen bed.

Universally polite and helpful staff, easy check in, contemporary upscale feel with all the in-room amenities you need including an LCD TV, wired Ethernet, great bed/linens.

I absolutely loved the way the rooms were decorated and furnished and the bed was SOOOO comfortable!

If you sit on the bed you can touch every piece of furniture in the room at the same time.

The size was just fine, with a king sized bed tucked into a cozy alcove and plenty of room for our friends to drop by for a cocktail before we set out to see the sights.

There is a restaurant downstairs that serves a very pricey buffet breakfast for $15 per person.

The bar staff were very friendly and the restaurant serves a contemporary American Menu until 10 PM.

We loved the staff, the service and the onsite bar/restaurant.

The restaurant in the hotel was pretty pricey ($15-20 for breakfast before beverages), but looked nice.

Check-in was fast, reception staff were helpful and pleasant.

What really stood out for me about this hotel was the great service - the valets were friendly and helpful, the pullman/bellboy was extremely nice, and the desk clerks and concierge made really excellent suggestions and had a wonderful demeanor.

We especially enjoyed the free internet access in the lobby - we had spent a fortune in internet cafes during other parts of our trip!

The WORST part of our stay was the expensive valet parking.

This also eliminated the frustration factor of looking for parking etc.

This also allows wireless access so you can use your own computer.

The internet access turned out to be wired-only with a $9.

Service is very quick and rooms are clean.

The rooms are clean,modern and spacious enough to feel at home.

Rooms are quite small, but are very clean and comfortable.

Clean, and large rooms, flat screen TVs, internet access (wireless) in the lobby for free, and 4 other computers in the lobby with printer.
