We stayed here as part of a larger group, and although the location (beautiful) and ammenities (plentiful) were outstanding, the staff and their attitude left a lot to be desired.
We had booked into their one bedroom suites - the Magnolia Suite - which are located at the end of the building on each floor.
Leading off the bedroom was the large bathroom, with spa bath, separate shower recess.
Very helpful staff, friendly check-in and bathroom sinks very poorly designed.

Our suite was on the ground floor and not only were the windows from ceiling to floor we had access to our private patio area.
Also the staff in the bar were very nice, sausages on the buffet were cheap kranski like efforts.
The restaurant, Bella has a sophisticated menu which features local produce and the wine list has a varied selection of wines from local vineyards although the wines can be quite pricey (cheapest was around $48).
Pre-dinner drinks at the bar were great too with a good range of wine by the glass and top-shelf spirits available.
Good breakfast, beverage staff was incredibly knowledgeable.
Given that us Victorians pride ourselves on being the gastronomic hub of Australia, this type of cuisine will be enough to put the locals of this hotel!

That said, I have since contacted management and received an apology, but this property has a lot of staff training to do before it even scrapes the surface of service excellence.
The views were fantastic and service was great.
The food and beverage staff was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive and down-to-earth; the staff, food and wine really made our dining experience!
We made full use of the Heritage Spa and Retreat – the gym, steam room and indoor swimming pool, although we were tempted by the luxurious day spa treatments we were too busy relaxing to book an appointment!
Our group had arranged golf and spa treatments, but were not offered any incentive for doing so.
Security at the premises were great and the room was spacious and clean.
