Salisbury Hotel Folkestone

Beautiful sea view, free parking available nearby and the location of the hotel is excellent for the event at the Leas Cliffe Hall we were attending.

Great location too and friendly atmosphere.

The location is good and the hotel is popular.

The location was excellent, the stay was good value for money and the room's bed was better than ours at home.

Little things but the kind of stuff that you would think they would have done like proper direction signs to the rooms, light switches that you can't reach from your bed, a kettle that was too large to fill in the sink - that kind of thing.

The bed comfortable, bar prices also very good and the Continental breakfast more than ample.

The staff are helpful, the bed IS comfortable and joined the huge bar queue in order to check in.

Staff very friendly good location for town center, superb family hotel and the bed linen was fresh.

My room was nice and clean, service in restaurant more than effecient, no complaints about kitchen - full english breakfast was one of the best i've ever had.

The food in the downstairs restaurant was chosen from a three course menu and was hot and plentyful.

The bar was closed 'because had been a quiet night, the food was hot.

The shower worked fine and english breakfast was very nice.

One real downer was the note on the front door which says hotel is locked at 1130pm and to find at 1045 it was already locked and the bar was closed 'because it had been a quiet night'.

Reception staff was helpfull, my room was clean and in the restaurant the food was adequate.

Advice and information was readily available and offered by the extremly friendly staff.

Close to to town centre en great viewwould have been better the windows were clean and staff were all welcoming.

Location was excellent and staff were friendly.

The position in relation to the town centre is good and a helpful staff member managed to convince Lee to let us stay.

One downside to staying here was that my wife and i didnt spend more time with the charming young waiters that were so helpful and happy to serve us.

The hotel was clean and bright, we had a large room with a sea view, could perhaps have had better entertainment.

Furthermore friendly service again and clean rooms.

All in all excellent value for money, i liked the helpfulness of the staff and my room was nice and clean.

Breakfast was in the form of a continental buffet style, the staff were friendly and helpful, bathroom was clean.
