It's always a good idea, in my experience, to check with any hotel directly for the best price.
This is a very nice hotel, as you would expect for the price.
The food is run-of-the-mill hotel fare, only at Michelin 5-star prices.
Still very hard to justify when other great hotels are in the general location at 1/3 the price.
The location can't be beat--close to the freeway if you are driving from either Oakland or SFO.
It is a luxurious hotel in a great location, close to restaurants and shopping.
The hotel is so close to Union Square - so if you want to go shopping this is a good location.
I arranged with the hotel to have a car and driver pick me up at the airport who was there waiting for me upon my arrival in the baggage claim area - sign in hand - and off we went.
And lastly Michael who found us taxi whenever we needed one was a delight.
The windows shades and lighting are controlled by an LCD console located next to the bed (in room and suite categories) and on the desk in the living room (in suite categories).
Regis Suites" (the suite level just below the Presidential), though we had occasion to see just about every room configuration in the hotel (from the rack rooms, to the Astor Jr.
My wife and I stayed in the executive suit, which included a corner "lot" (lots of windows), a king size bed, flat screen TV, 5 DVD-disc changer, stereo surround sound and a marble bathroom.
Flat-screen TV, comfortable bed, and glistening bathroom -- it was all glamourous, luxurious, and modern.
Floor to ceiling glass, leather walls, dark wood floors, two huge plasmas (and a lcd tv in the bathroom) and the softest bed I have ever slept in (complete with Pratesi Linens).
Vitrine, the restaurant on the third floor serves a nice breakfast, and the lobby bar was a terrific place to have a drink.
Ate in the restaurant Ame one night, which was very nice, but of course there are other better restaurants around the city.
I had breakfast in the hotel’s restaurant Vitrine (serves breakfast and lunch only).
It is one of the few hotel restaurants where the food was actually hot and delicious at breakfast and all but one of the servers was gracious and efficient.
The food was fantastic across the board -- in room, at the bar and at the restaurant, Ame.
From the front desk, concierge (David) to the entire staff.
The reception staff and the front office managers were quite nice.
The staff were thoroughly polite and charming, and the maid service extremely efficient.
We tried out the spa and gym (the pool had not been finished).
There is an indoor swimming pool, a gym (stocked with fruit, water, and magazines), and a spa (additional cost) available to guests at this hotel.
We also visited the spa and pool, as well as the fitness room.
The internet was a bit pricey ($15/day) but I did like the wireless aspect.
The rooms are modern, sleek, high tech, and clean; some rooms having magnificent views of the bay and city.
The room was spacious, clean, modern and well equipped.
The rooms were clean,stylish and comfortable.
The beds are fluffy and obviously extremely clean.
I must complement the cleaning staff who truly outdid themselves to make my room spotless.

The hotel is very modern and sleek, and the front desk and valet staff are extremely efficient. The location is good, right next to SF MOMA and walking distance to Union Square. Our room (deluxe) was good, but a bit on the small side considering the price point. The flat screen TV and bed were nice, and the bottled water at turndown was also a plus.

Definitely one of the nicest hotels in the country and the service was impeccable.
