Large double bed for single room - excellent and the lovely man at the bar also went out of his way to get me a hot chocolate.

The room was spacious but had a shabby look to it, the coffee spots on the wall by the bed and some stains on the carpet didn't help the overall view.

Room was not only cigarette-infused, with a cigarette burn on the bed cover, but was sorely in need of an update.

My room was very comfortable the hotel has just had all new mattress's, the staff were really friendly and bridal suite was lovely more so.

The bed was excellent and the food was good standard English food.

The bar area very pleasant, really good Breakfast - helpful staff - Hotel needs some updating/refurbishing and excellent service from the word go.

Bar service was slow, and bar food was a little pricey, but nice when it arrived.

The vegetarian fare made available was poorer than is available in beefeter restaurants (no mean feat), and although the non-veggie food is of adequate quality, the desserts were distinctly average.

On the positive side, staff in the restaurant were most attentive and pleasant, and the food was acceptable.

Breakfast was ok - we ordered the 'best breakfast' option.

Hotel room comfortable, great staff and upon arrival the receptionist was engaged on the telephone to sounded like a very awkward potential customer.

Excellent value overall, the only 2 things that i liked the reception staff and the room was a good size breakfast was good.

The best part of the hotel are the staff and reception had a nice friendly feel to.

This is mitigated somewhat by the level of service provided by the friendly and helpful staff, but I would not book a stay here.
