Large & functional rooms with four poster bed. Exceptional food served, like cereal and fruit.

Thank you for a really nice stay. It is a wonderful old place. The standard double room is newly renovated and extremely pleasant.

Had standard double room with maybe a bigger bathroom and wake-up service was available in it.

The units are airy, reasonably large with books as well as a four poster bed. The location is remote.

Had very relaxing stay for a perfect weekend with affable staff and amazing location in the beautiful gardens. The room was functional and great-sized with garden view, a comfortable sofa, for example as expected. We didn't want to say goodbye and would come here again.

By and large, it was comfortable place for sightseeing in Bovey Tracey, had much fun. A good choice of excellent food, we truly enjoyed it.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed and a lovely view. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The food in the dining area was delicious, and the location was excellent, within walking distance of the Moors.

The views at this traditional hotel were lovely. Pleasant staff, gave a lot of tourist information. Standard queen room had an exceptionally comfortable bed. Continental breakfast was something to remember. Remote location not far from Dartmoor, Haytor and the restaurant, it was in a local area.

The staff tried to be outstandingly friendly and absolutely excellent and made our stay a very nice experience. The room with rear views was recently refurbished and had a cable TV, excellent WiFi, and coffee facilities.
