We were forced to have a New Year's Eve meal in the hotel, at quite a high price ($160 USD per person, plus service & tax, wine excluded), but they did serve a very nice six course meal.
In sum, the Ritz-Carlton was everything I could expect from a hotel -- and more.
Very fine property nice view and hotel excellent.
Good location the hotel has a very good, their non-existent front staff made the Ritz-Carlton shine like a diamond.
If you have to stay in Doha - look at the Four Seasons its in a better location closer to the city and Corniche.
Location leaves a bit desired as it's out at the End of Doha, takes about 25 to 30 minutes from the airport.
We did take taxi's to the City Centre Mall and the Landmark Mall and both were nice, although all the eating and drinking places were closed (you guessed it, Ramadam again.
Our room was lovely - very comfortable bed, wonderful bathroom (separate huge shower and tub, and an enclosed toilet/bidet area with a door), and beautifully decorated.
Opulent public rooms, good service, and a very spacious and well equiped room more the size of a junior suite in other hotels, with super bathroom and toiletries.
Our room was spacious, and the bed & pillows extremely comfortable.
And to sleep in the bed, We´ve never slept in a moore soft and nice beds.
Especilly when it was time to make the beds before going to bed.
We had breakfast in the hotel every morning and twice had dinner at the hotel -- I highly recommend Porcini, the Italian restaurant -- and we enjoyed every bite.
We also hade dinner at the hotel Italian restaurant La Porcini and that was also wonderful restaurant with perfect service and fantastic food.
The only downside for me was a meal at the buffet restaurant.
We ate at the hotel's Italian restaurant, Porcino.
The food and service were, again, superb and the restaurant has a wonderful ambiance.
The wait staff at the pool does offer courteous service though it may be slow coming at times.
The massage staff seems medically competent and well trained in their services.
EVERYTHING is great, room huge, luxury bath, twice a day housekeeping, great breakfast & restaurants, lovely lobby, friendly staff, excellent pool & GYM.
We enjoyed drinks & lunch at the swim up bar, and theres also an indoor lap pool & spa.
The pool area is very relaxing, lots of sun lounges dotted around the meandering pool, hot spa and the ultra refreshing ice cold plunge pool!
Wireless internet there was also a major plus for my husband.
Many guests seemed to spend much of their time in the lounge - perhaps due to the cooler weather outdoors, but also lured by loaner laptops and free wi-fi.
The room was of a high quality, spacious clean and very very comfortable.
The hotel was spotless, and our rooms were well appointed in every way.
