Its a great hotel for a very reasonable price and fine service.
Clunky "old fashioned" television in clunky dark armoire didn't fit the hotel's vibe (or price point; there should have been a DVD player).
Well, at these prices I am not quite comfortable staying in a hotel that accommodated as many pets as humans with NO restrictions on their behavior while in the room; i.
Although LaCroix is certainly among the best restaurants in the country (let alone Philadelphia), the hotel itself is tired, outdated, and shockingly overpriced.
First, Rittenhouse Square is a great location for any stay in Philadelphia, centrally located with the top shopping and dinning within a few blocks along Walnut, Chestnut and Broad streets.
I'm sure not all the rooms have the best view, hotel is in a good location and service is always excellent.
The location of the hotel and size of the rooms are what keeps us coming back.
The location is great and the park is nice.
Overall, the trip was a nice diversion from our daily lives, but I don't think I'm the five-star hotel type, and I certainly wouldn't go back if I had to foot the bill myself.
Our room had a nice sitting area, fluffy bathrobes and slippers, turndown service, huge bathroom and a very nice pillows and bed.
There was one bedroom and a living room with a pull out sofa bed for the kids.
The room was big enough (and the bathroom was sumptuous, separate bath and shower, thirsty towels, flat screen tv (which we never used).
We had a nice spacious corner suite with a bathtub and shower, with a tv in the beautiful bathroom.
My only mini-complaint, that the way the bedroom tv was set up made it hard to see from the bed.
Hotel bar/restaurant features excellent drinks and helpful staff.
Best restaurant in Philadelphia and lovely products.
Bar 210 was very nice and the food was very good.
The Lacroix restaurant is outstanding, with excellent food and top service.
Convenient to everything, within walking distance of the best shops, restaurants and City Hall.

Perfect location, the staff was helpful throughout our stay and the front desk was friendly and accomodating.
The service was excellent, the concierge was helpful in getting us a rental car and rooms were very spacious and luxurious.
The location is great, the best thing about this hotel is the rooms are huge and front desk staff is friendly and intelligent.
A great view over the park, typical of many modern hotels and the lobby of the spa looks nice.
The hotel also has a spa and an indoor pool which we did not get a chance to experience.
Room service food was incredible, the pool and fitness center were state of the art.
The room was huge and everything was clean and comfortable.
Our room was amazing, the breakfast was great and the heated pool was in need of a good clean as well.
The size of the room was good, but I noticed that it really wasn't that clean.
The upside (reason for 2 stars) is that the rooms were clean and the cleaning staff delightful.
Not clear to us how this place stays afloat especially with such good alternatives in town: Ritz, 4 Seasons and the Park Hyatt---all of which deliver much higher quality rooms and much much better service.
