The beach is perfect, i pronouce The Reefs a 5 star property based primarily on superb location and the transportation system in Bermuda is really good.
The location can only account for so much; I am looking for service; the Reefs service and amenities are seriously lacking.
We could not have asked for a more wonderful location and fairytale wedding!
3) Around 9:45, as we were checking out, the bellhop asked us to traverse the dangerous highway one last time to (a) pick up our bags and (b) meet a taxi cab there.
We took advantage of their "Endless Summer" package which included transportation to and from the airport, a 3-day bus/ferry pass, a bottle of champagne, breakfast, dinner, and an oceanfront lanai.
The Reefs has overhauled their tired furniture and now boasts dark wood furniture, simple contemporary bed linens and flatscreen TVs in all rooms.
Room: Housekeeping is minimal clean towels and make the bed but no real "cleaning".
The Reefs' accommodations are one room lanais and larger rooms designated as suites.
Room - Room was a Deluxe Room with king size bed was very comfortable with flat screen TV and a chaise lounge that could be converted into a pullout bed.
Priya walked us to our room, with chilled champagne waiting, and the view of the azure blue ocean, pink sand and infinity pool was astonishingly beautiful - and was our view every morning sitting up in bed.
Possibly a bed and breakfast in Hamilton where we can travel to the beach and eat at a variety of restaurants with more casual food like that which is served at the Swizzle Inn or just have pizza some evenings.
Breakfast and dinner are included in the fare, and the food in three restaurants was great -although the codfish my husband chose one day for breakfast was not exactly to our taste.
The inclusive plan gives you a choice of 3 restaurants (with FOUR COURSE DINNERS) and breakfast is a buffet plus anything from the menu and the staff switch between the three so you almost always know your waiting staff.
Four star cuisine for breakfast and dinner beats much of the English cuisine on the island.
They have many different breakfast choices: eggs cooked to order, omelettes, eggs benedict, Belgian waffles, French toast, plus fresh fruits/pastries for the Breakfast Bar, and it is a la carte, not buffet.
Everyone from the housekeeping, beach staff,waiters, waitresses, front desk was so very kind, friendly and could not do enough to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable.
The service was outstanding from the front desk helping us arrange dinner reservations, to answering our questions about attractions- everyone at the Reefs was so polite and helpful.
We were addressed by our names at all times by the dining staff, bartenders and the front desk personnel.
The beach is lovely, every room no matter the location or category has a beautiful view and hotel Staff: Front Desk very helpful.
The hotel has a gorgeous private beach, great for swimming, and on the terrace above it, there is an infinity pool and a hot tub.
The views from our cottage, from The Terrace and the pool are to die for.
All of dinners were also good and infinity pool was astonishingly beautiful.
The sea was crystal clear and the room had a gorgeous view.
The room was clean and most of the food was fantastic.
The hotel facility is very clean, most of the staff are great and suite as the layout is a bit more comfortable.
The room was clean, funishes outdated but fine.
The bathrooms are clean but alittle on the tired side.
