The Racha, Thailand’s premier island hideaway, is set on the pristine Batok Beach overlooking one of Thailand's most spectacular bays on Racha Yai Island; only 15km south of Phuket.

Getting there

The Racha is only a one hour and 15 minute flight from Bangkok. It is a 45 minute drive from Phuket International Airport and just a 35 minute ride by boat from Phuket's Chalong Bay to Racha Island. For a surcharge, an airport limousine transfer is available upon request.

Important Notice: Guest arriving later than 15:30h at Phuket International Airport cannot be transferred to The Racha on the same evening as the resort does not operate the boat at night time. The Racha will assist in making alternative arrangements for overnight stays in Phuket in case of late arriving flights or delays, but will not be financially responsible.

Getting around

The Racha is just 35 minutes by speed boat from Phuket’s Chalong Bay.

The speed boat schedule may be changed subject to flight arrival times of guests or weather and sea conditions, but the boat will not leave earlier than at the advertise times in any case.

Private speed boat transfers subject to surcharge on request.

The Racha will not operate the boats if there is the slightest safety concern in case of high winds or uncertain sea conditions and will make alternative arrangements for the guests until the situation is considered safe.

Great cocktails and bar snacks, outdoor shower. Yummy food and delicious drinks, good selection of wine too, overall smart contemporary ambience. Beautiful spa offering a selection of treatments at reasonable prices.

At that moment swimming in the sea s not quiet and also the seafood restaurant was not up to the standard of the other restaurants in the place. The service we found definitely not convincing.

Sea is emerald green colour and is just beautiful, •the beach and the nearby siam beach are quite spectacular. The location is a tropical paradise sooo secluded private romantic breathtaking relaxing and jon, the manager there is a top guy and does a great job keeping the place. The staff are very friendly, the rooms and facilities are almost perfect, drinks means the wait is a pleasant one.

The bay is quite picturesque and the water is lovely for cooling off in, service is unparalleled and its remote location is the perfect getaway, this hotel is realy a good 5. The staff are friendly and the room is very nice and clean. The breakfast is wonderful, i tried the spa for a traditional Thai massage and liked a lot, the gym equipment is more than adequate for recreational usage.

The island is beautiful and we enjoyed exploring the different beaches, the Breakfast open area is very lovely overlooking the beach greenery. This hotel is amazing, staff is great and the outdoor shower is especially nice. The facilities are well maintained.

Thus the beach pretty crowded and not isolated, a beautiful location. Great things about the hotel and wonderful service. Clean room and fully loaded, drinks at the Pool Bar was pretty good, the piped in music underwater was a nice touch too.
