Queensberry Hotel Bath - 巴斯

The street in which it is located is a bit sketchy, although the actual location relative to the beautiful parts of Bath is good.

The hotel is in a fab location, really near the centre and in a beautiful row of Georgian houses.

The location itself was great, an easy walk to the centre but far enough away to be quiet and private.

The hotel is tucked away in Russell Street which is a stones-throw from the 'Royal Crescent' and the 'Circus' so the location is great.

Seriously, if you are visiting Bath and want a great location, with style and luxury then you could do a lot, lot worse than the Queensberry - believe me, I've stayed in a few!

The room was large and had a comfortable bed, a massive bathroom with dressing gowns provided - flatscreen TV and radio in the room but no tea making facilities sadly.

For a GBP160, you get a large king sized-bed room, and some 'old' bathroom windows that refuse to close.

Room 27 is my favourite, it's at the back of the hotel with a large bed and bathroom but retains a cosy atmosphere.

The building had been recently re-decorated and was beautiful, our room with a flat screen tv, digital radio and a lovely bed was fantastic.

Our room was lovely with high ceilings and a very comfortable bed, although we did notice it lacked maintenance/ attention to detail - peeling wallpaper, cracked paintwork, aging bathroom.

We ate at their downstairs Olive Tree restaurant for both lunch and breakfast, and were treated to great food, pleasant service, and an attractive room.

The restaurant is very good although a touch pricey both for dinner and breakfasts and food/beveage was a third of our?

Restaurant and breakfast very good - restaurant much better than the last time we stayed - even though they forgot our reservation a table was founf quickly enough.

On our first night we ate in The Olive Tree restaurant and had one of the best meals we have had.

We elected to eat at the Olive Tree Restaurant on our first night (in the Hotel basement) and were not too impressed (despite excellent review in many books, journals and web) - it was too posh, expensive and the food was middle range.

The location was ideal for access to the City, the Hotel staff were superb and the service was gracious and prompt.

The hotel staff parked for us and great service.

The customer service is exemplary and the staff always friendly.

If you plan to visit the spa you should ask when you make the reservation.

Upon check out were were given an envelope with offers for a return visit and for deals with the Thermae Spa.

It would have been nice to know about the spa deals when we made the reservation, not when we were leaving.

The weather was sunny and warm, so sitting on the back patio with a glass of wine and a good book (or using the hotel's wireless internet connection) was a very pleasant way to end a busy day, even for the boys.

Rooms very clean, gorgeous high ceilings and comfy sofas.
