Now I see where they have cut some corners to account for the low price - while I still think the hotel is a good value for budget travelers, I personally would probably stay elsewhere next time.

The bathroom is small but it has everything you need and overall the hotel represents excellent value for money.

We have stayed at other hotels but the price and value was no comparison.

The hotel has a young, hip feel and despite its low price and popularity with twentysomethings, it is not at all noisy or boisterous - we stayed on a Friday night.

The Quadrant is a modern hotel in a very good Auckland location right next to the Hyatt.

The location to visit the inner city is good, it's also close to the moterway on ramp, and they offer valet prking at the standard rate.

We stayed there for 3 nights this week and found the location good (next to the Hyatt) The staff were also helpful and friendly, however the rooms and the public spaces let the building down.

They also told me that they had a special deal on taxis's to they airport, and I ended up paying more than they said.

We arrived after a long trip from Canada and were happy to discover the airport bus stop was right in front of the hotel and we were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff.

However, if you are sharing a room with a workmate (or someone who you don't know very well) be aware that one of you will have the bedroom which the other person (who has the sofa bed in the lounge) has to go through to get to the bathroom!

There are 240 one bed apartmentments and 90 studio rooms.

We had a one-bedroom apartment, which was pretty tiny itself (about 3/4 the size of a normal Marriott or Hilton studio room), so I cringe at how tiny a studio here must be.

We stayead in a studio room, their smallest I believe and it suited our purposes to a T Comfortable bed, god shower and even a small kitchenette.

They made up the sofa bed for us so knew there was three in the room, yet only provided two towels, and all the cups, glass's etc are for two people.

The breakfast is cafe quality and is quiet reasonably priced, however the on-site bar/restaurant doesn't offer dinner.

Easy access to internet, the bar is cool and the breakfast menu is good.

The only negative is the hotel restaurant which is geared to meeting people's breakfast needs.

Ddin't use the bar/breakfast facilities, as they were sort of tacked onto the fairly narrow corridor to the lift and didn't appeal to us.

The restaurant which is only open for breakfast is in a dark area off the elevators with some tables against the elevator wall.

Friendly and helpful staff, giving us complimentary late check-out, great food from room service.

Very near to the city center, great value for money and good reception service.

Breakfast is probably better elsewhere but on the whole a very pleasant place to stay and congrats to the reception staff.

The building is brand new, sauna, spa-pool, and gym on the ground floor.

The lobby seems to be always packed and the facilities for temporary parking while unloading luggage are limited.

I would possibly have looked at booking in again as I travel to Auckland monthly and they do have a good deal of 1 bedroom + valet parking which turns out to be around $18 00 less than what I did pay, but after the housekeeping fiasco, no way!

The wireless access is very expensive compared to other hotels that I stayed in that week throughout NZ.

Staff are charming and rooms are very clean and tidy.

The room was fresh and clean, we even had a little view of the harbour if you craned your neck.

Room s clean, useful kitchen and a great variety of restaurants.

Friendly staff, checkout was also efficient and i was concerned about the wine glasses in the room were not clean at all would be nice they were things like this do happen.

The rooms were comfortable and very clean.

    Central to the city, the Quadrant was convenient for the Free bus service and beverage available at the hotel was fantastic. The rates were good and we had dinner downstairs in seemed the lobby. Staff were awesome and the late checkout was great as we had time for a sleep in.

    The room itself was small, mattress was too soft for my liking and we ran out of milk after 3 hot drinks also there were only 3 coffee sachets.

    The Location was good, the fact that free wireless internet was included in the room rate set from almost every other hotel in Auckland and for the price we paid we certainly expected a lot more. Staff were very helpful, check-in was efficient and the studio was just the right size for a business traveler. We had breakfast downstairs.

    The locations is convenient and after leaving the foyer you cross a bridge like structure to the secluded luxury beyond. In addition the place is spotless, the price is great and a nice supermarket is nearby. Staff are charming and rooms are very clean and tidy.

    Long walk up the hill and i didn't really like the music videos in the elevator. Additionally the continental breakfast is pretty lame and the gym is tiny.

    Reasonably convenient location, great food - just like a Ponsonby Road cafe and the best hotel we have stayed in to date. Additionally the staff are helpful, the free wireless Internet access and the kitchen is good. Breakfast is probably better elsewhere, facilities are fine - the gym.

    The location on the hill is fine and is a lovely place to stay. The staff are normally pleasant and helpful, also I liked first sun rays coming from the balcony in the morning.

    Location is excellent - you can walk anywhere in downtown, this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in and two bed roomed apartments are fantastic.

    There should be clear direction signs to reception and the gym is small.
