Preluna Hotel & Spa Sliema

The Preluna is well situated in a fairly quiet location and close to everything you could need.

The location of the hotel is very central and opposite a beautiful promenade and close to shops, restaurants and most importantly the sea.

We love the location but there are other better and cheaper hotels nearby.

30pm then it got very hot in there, to make matters worse the local transport buses were on strike and it was chaos at the airport but the later had nothing to do with the hotel.

The hotel arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport and on arrival we were a bit upset at the location.

The room is medium sized, with small balcony, wooden flooring, remote TV with a dozen or so channels of varying language, en suite bathroom with tub/stand in shower and toiletries, mini bar, bathrobes, tea&coffee making facility and iron/board.

Our room was a huge disappointment and dirty, hairs and food crumbs in the fridge, fluff all over the TV and the bed covers looked grubby.

The mattresses do indeed sit on plywood bases but this does not mean they are inferior – I have slept on far more comfortable beds, it is true, but this bed was by no means the most uncomfortable I have slept on.

We were very lucky to be given what they class as a suite, however, although the room was massive, the bathroom was horrible and because of this we never used (we showered in the Spa - incase you wondered!

Too tired to do much, we went to bed in a room with a temperature above 30 degrees.

Bathroom was nice and cleaned, the happy hour at the 360 Bar on the top floor was a joy every evening, breakfasts offered a wide variety of food.

We were staying on a B&B basis and breakfast in the Triton restaurant was very nice with a good range of food.

4 star, but is ok, the location is perfect, very closed to sliema restaurant and shopping, breakfast is ok, and for dinner i suggest nina's, food and wine (please wine, not maltese's wine.

The food, both breakfast and dinner was buffet style, unless you paid extra for the a la carte restaurant.

The restaurant was perfectly fine with the breakfast giving you a full cooked breakfast of sausage, bacon and eggs etc or the continental choice.

The staff, which included reception, dining and bar service, were friendly, helpful and welcoming.

With the exception of the reception staff, nobody else really seemed to care about guest inconvenience or delivering 'value for money' service.

The hotel is wonderful; friendly and attentive staff, very clean rooms with daily maid service, aircon etc and good entertainment.

Upon late arrival at the hotel, the reception staff were most helpful and hospitable, making our check–in quick and easy for us to get to our room as soon as possible, after a late flight.

Provided for the guests are an indoor pool with various spa facilities and a rooftop sun lounging area with jacuzzi.

The weather was great The hotel its self was fine ,indoor pool was great with sauna, steam room and gym all well used.

The Hotel also has a few restaurants and gym in the basement (with small indoor pool) as well as a rooftop terrace for nicer weather.

This time we had a basic 'city view' room, which although very clean and tidy was a little dated in its decor and the view was of a conservatory.

This really wasn't worth the money we paid, friendly staff and rooms were clean and tidy.

The room was clean and tidy and the fruit basket on our arrival was a nice touch.

The room was very clean and kept this way on a daily basis.

Our room enjoyed beautiful seaviews and was kept very clean.
