The location was good as was on a quiet street only a couple of blocks from the main centre and the staff was awesome.

We had an early departure to the airport, the architecture at The Plantation Inn was very charming and interesting.

Our room wasn't ready when we checked in (early) but they called my cell phone 20 minutes later to let me know when it was ready.

Feeling at home in spacious beautiful room, the attached restaurant.

Yes, it is a "cutesy" place with old fashioned furniture and no computers but that is part of what I loved about it.

The free parking is a huge plus and there are so many fantastic restaurants within walking distance.

The french toast at breakfast is the best I've ever had and I wish I had the recipe!

The patio is a great place to enjoy breakfast and the pool is nice as well.

The pool area was calm and peaceful, the staff was excellent.

The staff we dealt with were always very friendly and welcoming.

When we wanted to go to the beach, we drove our rental up to the sister hotel where we could park for free and use their beach/pool area.

Historical area, pool - utterly private right in the middle of town and a great place to relax.
