We then rang the hotel and they honoured the price of late rooms and gave us breakfast too.
Although it is situated near a lot of interesting places, the location of the hotel is a bit awkward if you dont drive or aren't familiar with the area (but anyone with a decent sat nav or good sense of direction shouldn't worry too much!
Great location for visiting the nearby Pinewood Studios and very good value.
Quiet location, cab fares would have cost more than we paid and particularly in the garden - is close to a main road.
3 weeks and they sort out a cab to and from the airport FREE!
It was much more personal, pleasant and relaxing than an airport hotel.
The room was clean, triple glazing kept noise of traffic to a minimum, decent size room and fair sized bathroom (seem to find a lot of bathrooms in general are titchy, this also had a bath instead of just a shower).
Booked from hotel website with a summer offer of a Family room, dinner bed and breakfast for £119 which I thought was good value.
Our request to move to a room with a bath en suite was easily met, & our luggage moved whilst we were out.
The rooms are stylish and comfortable with a kingsize bed and comfortable pillows.
Slept like a log on a very comfortable and firm bed with crisp clean sheets.
Breakfast, which was included in the price was a choice of 3 different cooked breakfasts, hot drink, toast and a help-yourself buffet with yogurts, fruit, danish pastries, meat, cheeses, cereal, juice, etc.
Setting is very quiet and dining room/bar is smart.
The food was excellent as was the presentation, and the breakfast was amazing.

The food was good and interesting: we did not need a main course after our `grazing plates` - though we gave them a try , and breakfast was excellent.
Very helpful staff on reception and receptionist had good sense of humour.
Well, I must say firstly the staff on reception were very polite, professional and warm, which makes this review of the hotel no reflection on them at all.
The staff were excepionally welcoming, manager were very friendly and room was clean and comfortable.

The staff was unfailingly helpful, responsive & charming.
To sum up, the car parking and cab fares would have cost more than we paid and we consider the room was simply a free nights stay.
Parking is safe, the whole place is wonderful.
Rooms were nice and clean, the cold buffet table had a good selection of fresh juices.
The free parking here puts this hotel above them, extremely courteous & pleasant staff and the room was spacious and clean.
Additionally service was very good and room was clean.
The room was clean, the food was excellent as was the presentation.
Bathroom was clean and the food was great.
