The rooms themselves are nice enough, without being exceptional with virtually everything you'd expect from a hotel in this price bracket.
You will get far better service and more for your money here than at any chain hotel.
The location - right on the intracoastal is majestic and the hotel is well located.
Perfect location on the Intercoastal and close to beach.
The location is perfect and vERY HELPFUL STAFF PLEASANT WELCOME DRINK ON ARRIVAL.
The water taxi stop on the property is also a lovely way to travel in the evenings (do make sure that you wave at the taxis in the evening for them to stop they didn't see us one night even with the beacon light on!
My taxi driver called it 'classy', and a work colleague said 'you don't find these places anymore'.
She upgraded us to the Plantation Suite, which is a very nice room, with crisp white linens, beautiful, comfortable furniture and great bed.
The room was kept spotlessly clean as was the bathroom and the bed and pillows unbelievably comfy.
The rooms were comfortable, bed linen and towels excellent quality.
The room was ready by 1pm, and it was so beautiful, really gorgeous and the most fabulous cozy bed with beautiful bed linen.
They should provide shin guards with the room because you will bump into the bed frame when trying to navigate the room.
The breakfast and lunch menus are very limited in choices, which was blessing because we found many interesting restaurants in the local area.
However if you are one for a big breakfast there are loads of restaurants that the staff can recommend (the staff are all very helpful, in particular Tom or was it Ted?
Location: 2 blocks from the beach and all bar and restaurants on A1A-where all the action is at.
Service was superb, food was great and nothing beats breakfast at the dockside.
I believe I may have gotten food posioning from a local chain restaurant.
Front desk staff provided incredible service and attention to my needs and wishes.
The view of the intra-coastal is spectacular, the staff goes out of its way to make your stay enjoyable and the service is wonderful.
The room was immaculate and cleverly decorated, room service was delicious and the staff was ever so helpful and friendly.

I had a massage and a manicure & pedicure whilst there, which the hotel offers, though they don't actually have a spa, you have the services in your own room, or wherever you like, either by the pool or the pier overlooking the bay.
Nice towels, excellent food and we relaxed at the pool very quiet and peaceful.
It's just a block from the beach but the hotel has a nicely secluded freshwater pool.
