This popular, modern tower hotel The Peninsula Beijing (previously called the Peninsula Palace) owned by the Peninsula Group, displays the showy lifestyle in Beijing. With touches of classical Chinese grandeur, the decorative arched entrance leads to the foyer’s white marble bridge and fountain floors below. The Peninsula’s signature restaurants, Jing and Huang Ting, can be found in the exclusive, but somewhat deserted, ultra-expensive shopping mall which is in the basement.

This luxurious five-star hotel has a wonderful location, being in the center of Beijing, within a short walk from the city’s major sights and close to the business district.

The location was superb for proximity to a pedestrian shopping street, hotel was quiet and the service was classic Peninsula.
